My Unborn Baby Chose My Husband for Me novel Chapter 591

"It's nothing serious," Seraphina insisted, shooting Lucian a warning glare.

He was talking too much. If Grandma Eleanor found out, she'd worry herself sick.

"Susan, go get some rest. We've got him," Lucian told the housekeeper.

Susan nodded, handed Little Bean over to Lucian, and headed upstairs for the night.

Little Bean wiggled restlessly in Lucian's arms, his big eyes darting toward Seraphina with clear concern.

Seraphina sat down beside them, using her uninjured hand to playfully wiggle her fingers in front of Little Bean's face.

"Mommy is totally fine! Your daddy is just making a big deal out of nothing."

Seraphina communicated with Little Bean through their unspoken bond.

*Really? You better not be lying to me!* Little Bean thought back.

*Or else I'm going to be very angry!*

Seraphina gently poked his puffed-up, chubby cheek. "Don't be mad. It'll heal quickly. It's really not that bad."

Seeing that Seraphina didn't seem to be lying, Little Bean finally relaxed and let go of his little grudge.

Suddenly remembering something, he started squirming again. *Mommy, where is my Royal Gold Infant Formula?*

Seraphina froze.

Oh no!

She had completely forgotten about it!

She and Tiffany had planned to pick up the formula after dinner, but the fire had thrown a massive wrench in those plans. Running for their lives hadn't exactly left room for grocery shopping.

Seeing the look on Seraphina's face, Little Bean felt his entire world come crashing down.

*Mommy... please don't tell me you forgot to buy it!*

Seraphina looked at him with an incredibly awkward expression. "If I told you your formula got burned up in a fire, would you cry?"

Little Bean's face crumpled in absolute devastation.
