My Unborn Baby Chose My Husband for Me novel Chapter 615

Lucian leaned even closer, his hot, damp breath brushing against her sensitive skin as his voice dipped into a rough purr.

"You go soft for me."

A violent shiver ripped through her body. Her core tightened as a jolt of electricity sparked through her veins.

Her breathing completely unraveled.

Smirking, Lucian tilted her chin up and captured her lips.

She didn't put up a fight. Instead, her fingers tangled in his collar, pulling him deeper into the kiss.

When the car finally pulled up to the Langford Group headquarters, it glided to a smooth stop.

A solid minute passed, and neither of them moved to get out.

Sitting in the driver's seat, Christian glanced back at the raised privacy partition. He couldn't see a single thing.

Whatever. He knew better than to interrupt. He'd just sit and wait quietly.

A little while later, Lucian finally dragged his lips away from hers.

Her face was flushed hot, her chest heaving as she gasped for air. Her fingers felt like jelly as she weakly swatted his chest. "This is your fault."

She had spent perfectly good time doing her makeup, and now it was completely ruined.

Lucian looked back at her with absolute innocence as he reached over to fix her collar. "You're the one who's too distracting."

She pressed her lips together. "Oh, so now it's my fault?"

He didn't answer. His predatory gaze simply dropped to her kiss-swollen lips.

He shifted closer, raising a hand to brush a stray lock of hair from her forehead.

Pure survival instinct kicked in, and she jerked back. "I... I need to get to work."

Without waiting for a response, she shoved the door open and bolted from the car like a startled rabbit.

Lucian watched her dash through the building's entrance, a deeply satisfied smirk curling his lips.

Seraphina took the elevator up, ducked into the restroom to fix her disastrous makeup, and finally strolled into The Innovation & Strategy Division.
