Nine Hot Therians and Their Only One Queen novel Chapter 453

**When She Opened the Door to the Life She Was Afraid to Live by Nora Vale Kingsley**
**Chapter 453: This is Amazing**

Calum felt a surge of jealousy wash over him, a feeling that threatened to consume him whole as he watched Lucien.

*Ms. Tibarn adores Lucien so deeply. How could I ever stand a chance against that?*

A voice echoed in his mind, almost mocking him, “Because Lucien is my mate.”

Emma’s words were clear and resolute. “No matter who was lying here today—whether it was Lucien, Silas, Edric, Corvin, Marcus, or even you and Kieran—I would have made the same decision.”

Her gaze swept across Calum’s stunned expression, piercing through his insecurities. “I know that if I were the one in peril, each and every one of you would throw yourselves into danger to save me without a moment’s hesitation.”

The weight of her conviction settled on Calum’s heart. “I know Lucien would do it. And you would, too, wouldn’t you?”

Emma’s words struck him like a thunderclap, reverberating in his chest.

Without a moment of doubt, he nodded.

*Yes, I would. I would do anything for her.*

In that moment, he craved to prove his unwavering loyalty and love for Emma. He wished he could tear out his own heart and lay it at her feet as a testament to his devotion.

It dawned on him then that Lucien wasn’t extraordinary in the sense he had believed; he was merely one of the mates Emma had chosen and cherished.

With a newfound clarity, Calum understood he wasn’t merely an outsider looking in, but someone who held just as much significance in Emma’s life as Lucien did.

Before long, their warship glided through the cosmos, arriving at the new coordinates.

A breathtaking scene unfolded before their eyes, as if lifted straight from a storybook.

A magnificent castle floated gracefully among the stars, its ethereal beauty reminiscent of moonlight and stardust. Countless crystal towers reached elegantly into the vastness of space, each one glimmering like a beacon of hope.

Strange, luminescent plants clung to the castle walls, shimmering softly, as if they were alive, breathing in the stillness of the cosmos.

Beneath the grand dome at the heart of the castle, it appeared as though an entire miniature galaxy spun in harmonious motion—countless stars drifting lazily, creating a sight so stunning it left everyone breathless.

Emma stood in awe, her face nearly pressed against the window, her eyes wide and mouth agape.

“This is amazing…” she breathed, her voice barely above a whisper.

It was a beauty that far surpassed the castle she had sketched during the last match, a vision that danced in her mind’s eye.

Silas stepped in from outside, his voice soft and melodic as he spoke, “The last Luminara Castle you drew during the match, you gave it back to Damian, didn’t you?”

He turned to Emma, her face illuminated by the starlight, eyes sparkling with affection. “I knew how much you liked it, so I secretly purchased another one for you.”

A hint of regret tinged his voice as he sighed.

“I had intended to save it as a surprise for you at the Celestara Gala. I never imagined it would come in handy so soon.”

Emma slowly turned her head to meet Silas’s gaze, her heart swelling with warmth, as if it were dipped in honey.

Silas had always been like this—thoughtful and meticulous, preparing surprises and backup plans for her without her even asking.

Tears brimmed in her eyes, and the words she longed to express felt trapped in her throat. Ultimately, she managed to whisper, “Silas… thank you.”

“Since we moved in early, the castle isn’t fully furnished yet. Except for Emy’s room, the rest of the place is still empty for now.”

He glanced at Edric and the others, who were still trying to process the scene before them.

“You’ll need to decorate your own rooms.”

Silence reigned as none of them felt inclined to respond.

They were genuinely astounded by Silas’s charm and effort.

With a stoic expression, Calum activated his lightcore, intending to call for assistance with the decor.

Edric and the others followed suit, each feeling the need to contribute in some way.

Silas turned to Emma and said, “Emy, your room is upstairs. Let’s go see it together. If there’s anything you want to change, I’ll make it happen right away.”

“Mm.”

Emma nodded, her heart fluttering at the thought of what awaited her. She believed that Silas would decorate the room far better than she could ever envision.

In truth, she felt little need to change anything, save perhaps for the clothes.

Before heading upstairs, Emma cast a glance at Lucien, who Calum had unceremoniously deposited on the couch.

“Lucien is still unconscious, so he can’t decorate his own room.”
