Chapter 510 1 Need to Talk to You
What are those three even doing?
Lucien asked, puzzled, “What are you all up to this early in the morning?”
Calum laughed and patted Corvin’s pajamas, saying, “We’re admiring the outfs Errry yove
Corvin
“Lucien, I have to admit, those pajamas look great.
“Emy really has an eye for this kind of thing. Did she ever get you something like this?
Calum figured he shouldn’t be the only one feeling jealous.
Gifts?
Clothes?
Lucien glanced at Corvin.
Hmph!
Lucien leaned against the door, sounding a little tired.
“Emma is carrying our Phoenix cub. That’s already tough enough.
“How could I bear to ask her to worry about buying me gifts?
“It should be me giving her presents.”
A piece of clothing meant nothing.
Emma was carrying his cub, and that alone was worth a hundred, a thousand outfits.
He wasn’t jealous. Not at all.
“These pajamas really do look good.”
Suddenly, Alaric’s voice chimed in.
Wearing white loungewear, he came up to Corvin and looked him over carefully.
“Emma really does have good taste.”
So that’s the style she likes?

Carvin was only showing off his new pajamas to get people to compliment Emma’s taste
Hearing Alaric’s praise, be lit up
“Alaric,
“Don’t you think these pajamas suit me perfectly
Yeah
Alaric nodded. “They really do.
Corvin grinned at him. “You wouldn’t believe how long Emma spent picking these out for
me..”
Kieran and Drake came out after hearing the commotion. After they listened to Corvin’s words, they were burning with envy.
They wondered when they might ever get the same treatment.
Getting pajamas was out of the question—they hadn’t bonded with Emma yet.
Even a random shirt from her would be enough. It didn’t have to be fancy or take her ages to pick out.
Edric was the last to emerge, giving Corvin a look of helpless disbelief–he was openly flaunting Emma’s gift.
Did he have any idea how much jealousy he’d stirred up today?
Edric figured that by the time they reached Central Star, Corvin would be buried in work orders from the lab.
Back in Emma’s room, she woke up a little dazed and realized Corvin was already gone.
She heard voices from the living room–one of them sounded like Corvin.
Emma sat up, rubbed her sore wrist, and went to the door to check.
The moment she cracked it open, she caught Corvin bragging to Alaric.
“Alaric, let me tell you, Emma loves my tail the most…”
Emma was speechless.
How could he be sharing that kind of thing?

She didn’t even step out before embarrassment made her want to sink into the floor.
Corvin was ridiculous.
Emma took a deep breath.
Stay calm. Don’t get mad.
It’s not good for the cub.
She quietly shut the door and hurried to change.
Then she forced a smile, took a deep breath, and walked out.
She opened the door.
“Corvin.”
She smiled as she called to Corvin, who was still chatting with others on the couch.
Hearing her, Corvin snapped to attention and looked her way. The others turned to Emma,
too.
Emma kept her polite smile and ignored the rest, waving Corvin over.
“Corvin, come here.
“I need to talk to you.”
“I’m coming.”
Corvin didn’t hesitate, jumping up and running to her.
Everyone watched him go, suddenly silent.
Only Corvin spoke.
“Emma, what is it?”
He reached the doorway, eyes shining at her.
