Chapter 511 We Won’t Pick On Him
“Emma, why did you tie me up?”
If she was going to tie him up, she should have used a chain, not his tail.
Was Emma trying to play some new game with him?
“Because I like it. That’s what you told the others, right?”
Emma answered, then suddenly grabbed Corvin by the neck.
Corvin froze in surprise.
Emma glared at him, her teeth clenched. “Corvin, have you lost your mind?
“You parade around in pajamas like that first thing in the morning, just to show off.
“And you tell everyone everything.”
Corvin didn’t care, but she did. She still had some pride.
“I… I didn’t…”
Emma’s hand was at his throat, and even though his breathing caught for a moment, he didn’t feel scared.
If anything, the sudden closeness and her dominance sent a shiver down his spine that he couldn’t explain.
He liked it when Emma got angry.
“I heard everything earlier.”
Emma’s grip was never actually tight. The warmth of her fingers moved over his throat, more like she was teasing him than anything else.
She leaned in close, her breath warm on Corvin’s ear, voice low and sharp but somehow captivating. “You told Alaric and the others that you like it when I squeeze your tail, right?”
Corvin tensed, suddenly afraid to meet Emma’s gaze.
Emma saw his guilty look and glared even harder.
Chapter 511 We Wont Pick On Him
“Is that something you should be telling other people?“.
“I… I only said that one thing,” Corvin mumbled.
He didn’t tell them everything. He still knew where to draw the line.
Besides, he figured Emma would end up bonding with Alaric anyway, so telling him was no big
deal.
Maybe it would even help Alaric figure out how to make Emma happy.
“Even that one thing is too much.”
Emma felt embarrassed just thinking about it.
“Ugh!”
Corvin let out a muffled sound, stiff as if he’d been shocked. He wanted to escape, but with his tail tied up, he was trapped, caught between delight and humiliation.
“Emma… I’m sorry… I won’t ever do it again…”
Corvin’s eyes went red, tears pooling at the corners. He honestly didn’t know if he was suffering or in bliss. His heart pounded as if it would jump out of his chest.
Emma’s actions felt like both punishment and reward.
The contradiction nearly drove him crazy.
“Hmph!”
Emma gave a little snort, pulled out a tube of nutrient fluid, and pinched his chin to make him drink it.
“Stay here and reflect on your behavior until noon.
“I’ll let you out after lunch.”
It was so embarrassing.
Emma was so mortified she didn’t even want to leave the room. She felt like biting Corvin.
There was a knock at the door.
Edric called from outside. “Emma, breakfast is ready.”
2/4
Emma took a deep breath and gave Corvin, tied up on the bed, a sharp look.
Then she called out to Edric, “Coming”
She quickly straightened her clothes and washed up before heading out.
As soon as Emma left, Corvin’s wounded expression vanished. He touched his lips, smiling.
Emma would never really hurt him. She locked him in the room, but made sure he wouldn’t go hungry and even gave him nutrient fluid.
He got comfortable, wrapped himself up in Emma’s blanket, and snuggled in contentment.
Outside, Edric greeted Emma, taking her hand gently. “Corvin puts most of his brainpower into mech and warship stuff.
“He doesn’t think about other things much. Sometimes he forgets to be careful.
“We all know that, and we won’t pick on him just because he was showing off.”
“I know none of you would bully him.”
Emma’s face turned red, and she buried it in Edric’s chest.
