“Are you trying to tell me that you sent that message on Emma’s behalf? Or did she send it herself? Also, has she seen all the groups on your lightcore?”

Corvin pressed his lips together and lowered his head, not daring to answer.

Silas looked at him, his tone sharp and bitter.

“So she’s seen them all, and she sent that text herself. She’s seen those groups with the links I sent you, hasn’t she?”

Even now, Silas still clung to a tiny, self–deceptive hope. He prayed Emma hadn’t seen that group. He didn’t want to imagine what she would think after seeing the links he had sent.

Corvin didn’t want to admit it, but he couldn’t deny it either.
