“Watch closely, Ms. Tibarn.” He smiled gently as he looked at her with bright eyes.

Threads of silvery frost seeped from his fingertips and gathered in her palm under his control. The temperature in the air seemed to drop slightly, but only within that tiny space resting in her hand as it formed a miniature world.

Soon, a lifelike little wolf appeared in her palm. Then, ice crystals gathered along the wolf’s back, delicately carving out the shape of a small girl.

The girl wore a beautiful dress, its hem flowing naturally as the crystal solidified. She hugged the wolf’s neck affectionately, tilting her head with a peaceful, sweet smile–as if whispering secrets to the wolf beneath her.
