“You dare insult me?” Lily’s mate glared daggers at Corvin.

Lily’s mate paled and stumbled back a step. Humiliation twisted his face. “Have you no shame, Draemont? I challenged you, and you’re making someone else fight for you?!”

“There’s no rule saying I can’t get a substitute,” Corvin argued smugly. “You can ask someone else to fight on your behalf too.”

Lily’s mate fell silent.

Calum flexed his wrist and spoke coldly. “Corvin won’t fight you. If you don’t want to fight Lucien, you can pick me.”
