Silas had already sent word to return.

By the time they arrived with the vials, Emma had already gone to see Marcus.

The second they boarded, Corvin powered up the ship and pulled away from Pantheon Battlefield.

Malrik and Edric handed the vials over to Silas, then filled him in on everything Lily had said.

“A drug that can force a bonded male to turn on his mate?” Silas muttered, eyes narrowing as he studied the vials

“This has to be some kind of Chitinid–exclusive toxin.”

“Getting a little jealous, Marshal?”

Calum blinked at him. “…”

No one said anything about being jealous.
