Chapter 925 You Be the huge
Chapter 925 You Be The Judge
The three men on the side att called their eyes internally.
Another one putting on an act, they thought.
“Thank you for your concern, Gaellard. I’m fine,” Emma replied politely, before gesturing for him to take a seat.
Gaellard didn’t sit
He completely ignored Marcus, Alaric, and Drake, his gaze locking instead onto Andre, who was still perched on the couch. The tenderness he’d shown Emma vanished in a heartbeat, replaced by a cold sneer as he turned back to her.
“Emma, you are a kindhearted female. You mustn’t be fooled by guys like this-the ones who wear a high and mighty mask but are actually sanctimonious hypocrites!”
He pointed a finger at Andre. “This kind of therian is a promise-breaker. He isn’t worthy of your trust.”
Hmm?
Emma glanced at the expressionless Andre, then back at Gaellard. She quirked an eyebrow. Are these two having an internal falling out? Has their friendship hit an iceberg?
Marcus, Drake, and Alaric finally abandoned their lightcores. They looked up in unison, eyes darting between the two rivals.
Alaric tucked his lightcore away and poured a cup of tea for Gaellard. “Gaellard, what happened?” he asked smoothly. “Don’t be angry; tell us slowly. What did Andre do to upset someone as good-tempered as you?”
He added with a smirk, “Say it out loud so Emma can be the judge.”
Gaellard? Good-tempered?
Drake and Marcus both rolled their eyes in silence. As expected of a fox, they thought. Alaric could lie through his teeth without blinking.
“Alaric is right,” Marcus chimed in with a nod.
Drake added, “We definitely need to keep our distance from therians with character flaws.”
Gaellard wasn’t stupid; he knew exactly what those three were up to. They didn’t actually care about his feelings-they just wanted
a front-row seat to the drama. However, Gaellard didn’t care about their motives right now.
He turned to Emma, his arrogant demeanor instantly softening into a look of wounded grievance. His voice was thick with accusation.
“Emma, you have no idea how bad it was out there.” He gestured to himself and let out a pathetic sigh. “To clear those disgusting green birds off your shield as fast as possible, I was so focused on controlling the tornado that I didn’t have time to dodge. As a result… I was sprayed from head to toe by those disoriented birds!”
He painted a picture of utter misery, hoping to stir Emma’s sympathy.
“I smelled so bad and looked so wretched that I didn’t dare come see you looking like that. So, I had to suppress my disgust and find a place to wash up first.”

“Gaellard’s voice grew even more aggrieved: “Before I left to shower, I specifically told Andre to wait for me so we could come see you together. He looked atme then. While he didn’t speak, in a crash between mieles, not objecting is the same as agreeing
He looked like he’d been betrayed by his best friend. “Anri then? 1 scrubbed myself ten times over, put on my cleanest clothes, and rushed back full of joy to find him. But this shameless guy was gone! He actually used the time I was showering to break his word Without a single word, he snuck over here alone to suck up to you.”
The other three men in the room exchanged a knowing glance at this dramatic performance.
As for the subject of the accusation, Andre’s reaction was flat.
He slowly lifted his eyelids, his gaze as cold as the ice of the arctic, and looked at the pouting Gaellard. there was no panic, no guilt -not even a flicker of emotion.
“I didn’t open my mouth,” Andre’s voice rang out calmly. “Which means I didn’t agree”
