Mia nodded in agreement. "Yeah, thanks for stopping me there. We need to get Cedric to the hospital immediately."

Cedric was then swiftly taken away by the bodyguards. Once everyone who came along with Cedric had left, the Liddell villa finally returned to silence once more.

Blake looked at Carl and said, "Carl, weren't you being a bit too much just now? You know how important Cedric is to Noelle, don't you? Imagine how devastated she would be if something happened to him."

Carl replied, "Cedric means nothing to me. His dying would actually be one less problem for me. There are plenty of other good men in this world. Noelle will forget about him after enough time."

"Even so, you could've at least helped. Noelle already kind of hates us, they might just get the wrong idea about us."

Carl glared at Blake angrily and replied, "That's enough, Blake. Are you done yet? We know how to treat Noelle better than anyone else without you telling us what to do.

"I'm your older brother, Blake. Please watch your tone with me."

Blake's expression shifted instantly. He stepped forward and stared at Carl. "Was it you who took Noelle? Cedric and his friends have already left, so just tell me the truth."

Carl shoved Blake aside and replied, "Have you lost your mind? Why would I hide Noelle away?

"Everyone's out there looking for her. Shouldn't we be sending her straight to the hospital for treatment the moment we find her? What would even be the point for me to hide her away?"

Blake replied angrily, "Sure, that's what a normal person would do, but are you a normal person? You've always thought differently from the rest of us ever since we were kids."

Carl's expression darkened. "What did you say? Say that again if you dare."

"I'm saying that you're not normal, Carl! Remember the dreams you mentioned? We've all treated Noelle harshly, yes, but you're the one who personally cut her open for her kidney and even disfigured her."
