Carl straightened his clothes and replied with an ice-cold tone. "I've already said that I didn't take Noelle away. How many times do I have to repeat it?"
Donovan turned to Blake and said, "That's enough from you, Blake. What you said earlier was really out of line. It's one thing for the outsiders to be suspicious about us, but why are you doubting our brother, too?"
Blake replied, "It's just really strange how both of you suddenly got up to leave at around the same time. Only you two would have the chance to take Noelle away."
Donovan reprimanded Blake, "That's enough. You're not thinking straight after staying up for too long. You may be an actor, but real life isn't as simple as a movie script."
With that, he walked away with Carl.
Blake slumped onto the couch, looking thoroughly dejected. He then asked, "Frank, was I really wrong to suspect Carl?"
Frank walked over and patted Blake on the shoulder. "It's not your fault, Blake. I had my doubts as well while we were on the way here.
"When we've hit a dead end and sorted out the impossible. Whatever is left, however improbable it may be, is the only possible truth there is."
Blake then asked, "Then, where do you think Carl is hiding Noelle right now?"
Frank shook his head. "I don't know either."
Not long after, Carl came back downstairs with a change of clothes. Frank looked over and asked, "You're leaving already?"
Carl replied sternly, "I have a lot of work awaiting my attention back on the island. I'll need to go back for a couple of days. I'll come back here once I'm done with them."
Frank replied, "Don't take what Blake said to heart, alright? Just get back to work for now and leave things here to me. I'll keep you informed if anything comes up."
"Alright. I'll be back as soon as I can after I'm done with work on the island." With that, Carl left the living room and headed toward the helipad outside.
The helicopter had already been waiting for him.
Carl boarded the helicopter and said, "Take off immediately."
Just then, a group of people suddenly rushed forward to the helicopter. Eugene and Cedric were at the front, leading the group of bodyguards.
