Eugene chimed in. "It's true. That island's a fortress with tight internal security. Our contact is only stationed on the lower floors, while Noelle stays at the very top with Carl. It's not easy for anyone to get close to her.

"What matters is that we get in touch with her. Now, we have to plan this carefully because one wrong move might alert them."

However, Cedric shook his head. "No. We have to find her as soon as possible."

He was reminded of a dream Noelle had once told him. In that dream, she was taken to an island, where they cut out her kidney and ruined her face.

According to Noelle, that island brought her nightmares, so Cedric knew she must hate that place. Whatever Carl was planning, he couldn't allow that nightmare to come true and had to save Noelle as soon as possible.

He turned to Eugene and demanded. "I want a photograph of her. I need proof she's safe there to feel completely at ease."

Eugene nodded. "I'll get someone on it right away, but it might take some time to do it quietly."

Then, Cedric turned to Alfred and continued, "You'll oversee things at the company for now and help Magnus out if he runs into any issues. I need to keep putting on this act for the Liddells."

"Don't worry. Magnus is quick and learns fast. After this round of pressure, he can handle things on his own."

Just then, footsteps echoed outside the door before Emma and Anastasia stepped in.

Emma hurried forward and asked in a trembling voice, "How dare you keep something so big from us, Ced? Everyone's saying Noelle's gone!
