**When The Ocean Learned My Name and Whispered It Back to You by Aurelia Novel 512**
**Chapter 512**
Julian cast a sharp glance at Raymond, his expression betraying nothing but a hint of impatience. “Are you planning to leave or what?” he inquired, his tone steady, almost indifferent.
Raymond, feeling the weight of the moment, raised both hands in mock surrender. “I’m leaving, I’m leaving!” he exclaimed, his voice tinged with a mix of annoyance and resignation.
Yet, beneath the surface of his words, a thought lingered in Raymond’s mind: *Fine. But don’t come crying to me when you find yourself out on the street.*
It was only after Raymond’s car had roared away from the courtyard that Julian finally rose from his seat, a sense of relief washing over him. He made his way upstairs, his mind already drifting toward the tasks that awaited him. First stop: his study, where he intended to wrap up some lingering work that had been gnawing at him.
Meanwhile, in the cozy confines of her own world, Sydney emerged from her room, a fresh set of soft cotton loungewear draped over her frame. She slipped into the bathroom, the sound of running water mingling with her thoughts as she prepared for a moment of peace.
When she stepped out, her hair still damp and glistening, she felt an irresistible pull toward the balcony. The courtyard below lay in serene silence, devoid of the usual hustle and bustle. With the cars gone, she assumed that Julian had already made his way back to Haven.
A gentle knock at the door interrupted her reverie.
“Ms. Wilson, the kitchen has prepared some stewed soup. Would you like me to bring it up?”
It was Polly, her voice a familiar melody that wrapped around Sydney like a warm blanket.
As she heard Polly’s words, Sydney felt the last remnants of strangeness fade away, replaced by the comfort of familiarity. With a bright smile, she opened the door, her dimples deepening and giving her an almost ethereal, childlike quality.
Polly’s heart swelled at the sight of Sydney, the young woman she had watched blossom into adulthood, despite the absence of parental guidance. Though merely a housekeeper, Polly had always regarded Sydney as her own niece, pouring her love and care into every interaction.
“It’s still early,” Sydney replied lightly, her voice airy. “I’ll head downstairs and have it myself.”
After all, Yoyo would be back soon. That silly dog would be over the moon to see her. Plus, with Agatha nursing a sprained ankle and relocated to a room downstairs, Sydney could check on her before settling in for the night.
“Alright then,” Polly said, her gaze soft and filled with nostalgia. “Time truly flies. In the blink of an eye, you and Julian have grown up so fast. And now, you’re about to welcome a little one of your own…”
Sydney’s smile widened, a glimmer of joy lighting up her eyes. “You could tell I’m pregnant?” she asked, a hint of surprise lacing her words.
