Oops I Banged the CEO novel Chapter 195

Marico stepped up to Yvonne, lowered his gaze, and spoke to her in a gentle, warm voice.

The way he stood there, his manner and tone—if it weren’t for the fact that both of them were already taken, everyone would probably be rooting for them to get together.

Handsome man, beautiful woman, even the rings on their fingers matched perfectly.

Yvonne glanced up and met his eyes. His gaze was deep as midnight, openly affectionate and intense, with a focus so direct it was impossible to ignore.

He just looked at her like that—unflinching.

Yvonne couldn’t handle that kind of intensity for long; she immediately looked down and mumbled, “Thank you, Mr. Hamilton.”

She reached out with both hands and took the massive bouquet of roses from him.

The flowers were stunning—lavender roses, each one fresh and dewy.

It was the first time Yvonne had ever received flowers in front of so many people, and it sent a ripple through her usually calm heart.

No matter how strong, poised, or collected she tried to be, standing there with a bouquet of roses, her cheeks flushed a rosy pink.

A thought flashed through Marico’s mind:

She’s more beautiful than the flowers.

His lovely wife—adorable, really.

He withdrew his hand, his eyes never leaving her as he spoke in a low, steady voice. “Take the afternoon off, all of you. Go out, have some fun after lunch.”

Grace and the others all lit up with excitement, chiming in together, “Thank you, Mr. Hamilton!”

“Don’t forget your bonuses—$2,000 each. The monthly awards will be given out next month.” The finance director came by, handing out thick red envelopes to everyone.

It felt just like having a college roommate who started dating a gorgeous billionaire, and suddenly everyone else got swept up in the perks.

Except Marico wasn’t just any rich, handsome guy—he was the CEO, impossibly rich, impossibly attractive.

Yvonne hugged her bouquet, waiting for Marico to leave before sneaking a glance at his tall, straight figure as he walked away.

As if sensing her gaze, Marico turned at the corner and looked back at her.

Their eyes met.

A glimmer flickered in his dark eyes, and the corner of his lips quirked into the faintest smile.

“Hey, isn’t it weird that Mr. Hamilton’s partner is still a mystery, and you’ve never introduced us to your boyfriend either, Yvonne? Are you both in top-secret relationships or something?” Cindy asked, taking another bite of cake.

Yvonne quickly stuffed a forkful of cream into her mouth and just smiled, saying nothing.

“If I didn’t know better, I’d think the two of you were secretly seeing each other,” Nydia said, counting her money and never missing a chance to stir the pot.

Yvonne nearly choked, coughing twice as her face turned even redder.

“Yvonne, why didn’t you go knock on Mr. Hamilton’s door when you got drunk at the company party? You could’ve had that classic ‘CEO falls in love with me’ storyline! He’s got those long legs, that lean waist—you just know he’d be amazing in bed, ughhhh,” Nydia said, her inner mischief coming out.

If it hadn’t been for Grace and Cindy stuffing her mouth with a giant bite of cake to shut her up, who knows what else would’ve come out.

Yvonne kept her head down.

She didn’t dare say a word—didn’t dare admit to anything.

If their relationship ever got out, she’d never hear the end of it.

Oh god… her nerves were a mess.
