Ophelia Gets Thrown Out (Ophelia) novel Chapter 25

**Paths Lead To Purpose — Kevin Masters**
**Chapter 25**

As Kevin sat in contemplation, a single reasonable explanation emerged from the depths of his thoughts, illuminating the complexities of the situation he found himself in.

“Yeah, it’s quite an esteemed accolade within our industry,” Ophelia remarked with a casual air, her voice smooth and unbothered. Having amassed a collection of such accolades long before she even established Caterina, the recognition felt rather mundane in her eyes.

Dylan, however, couldn’t suppress the surge of admiration that washed over him as he regarded Ophelia. His perception of her had shifted dramatically.

“I honestly didn’t anticipate you to be this remarkable. After you graduate, joining Caterina could be a fantastic step for you,” he suggested, his voice tinged with genuine enthusiasm.

Ophelia offered a faint smile, a hint of warmth flickering in her eyes. “You’re too kind, Dylan,” she replied, a playful lilt to her tone.

Yet, beneath her composed exterior, a question nagged at her mind. What would Dylan think if he discovered that she was, in fact, the brilliant mind orchestrating the success of Caterina? Would his respect waver, or would it deepen?

“Having Ophelia around is a real blessing,” Owen chimed in, his sharp little eyes sparkling with mischief. “Dylan, remember how you used to rely on Caterina for your stage costumes? Why not let Ophelia take the reins from now on?”

A sly grin crept across Owen’s face as he continued, “Think of the savings on design fees!”

Ophelia raised an eyebrow, impressed by Owen’s astuteness. “You truly have a knack for business, don’t you?” she teased, her tone light yet appreciative.

Suddenly, a memory flickered in her mind—she had indeed taken on a few projects designing stage costumes for Dylan in the past, each one a luxurious affair. But being family, she felt no need to charge him moving forward.

“That sounds perfect! I have an important performance lined up next month. If you’re willing, could you design a set for me?” Dylan’s excitement was palpable, his curiosity piqued about Ophelia’s true talents.

“As long as you don’t mind,” Ophelia replied, her smile brightening the room. The camaraderie between the siblings felt effortlessly harmonious, a bond that was palpable and heartwarming.

In that moment, however, Zoe felt the weight of isolation settling upon her shoulders.

She was the one footing the bill for dinner, yet it seemed to only serve to deepen the connection between Dylan and Ophelia, igniting a simmering anger within her.

Just then, a voice broke through the tension, drawing their attention.
