"Nadine, where is Julius living these days?"
"He has quite a few properties. Even I'm not sure which one he's staying at."
Nadine had watched Yvonne grow up. The moment she asked, the older woman knew exactly what she was plotting.
Her grandson was already married, and she wasn't about to let anyone drive a wedge between him and his wife.
Yvonne had been quite lovable as a child, but as she grew older, she became increasingly snobbish and status-obsessed.
Ever since she heard Julius's legs were supposedly incurable, she hadn't visited once—and that was before she had even gone abroad.
Now that news of his recovery had spread, she was clearly trying to latch back onto him.
Nadine might be old, but she wasn't blind. She knew exactly what game this girl was playing.
There was no way she was telling her where Julius lived.
"But Nadine, doesn't he come back to visit you since he moved out?" Yvonne pressed, trying to bait the information.
"He does, but it's hard to say when. He runs the entire group, and his schedule is packed. He hardly has any free time."
"Nadine, I have to ask... when I went to the office to see him, I noticed a very pretty girl who seemed awfully close to him. Is she a relative of your family?"
A very pretty girl?
That had to be Stella. Her granddaughter-in-law was undeniably gorgeous.
And it was perfectly normal for Stella to visit her own husband.
