After all, Lucian's turf was outside the main compound, so Tiger was bound to send someone to monitor her.
The next day.
Lucian actually followed through, negotiating with Paula to get the girl. By that evening, she was delivered straight to the villa.
When the young woman arrived, her head was heavily bandaged, and she looked incredibly frail.
"Ms. Todd, here's your girl. I held up my end of the bargain. As for Tiger... that's your problem to deal with."
"Thank you, Mr. Vance. Don't worry, I already cleared it with him last night. He knows about it. You won't be dragged into anything."
Tiger had come back late the previous night. She had handed him a glass of warm milk spiked with a little something extra, casually mentioned her request, and he had agreed without a fight.
Lucian nodded. "Alright then. The doctor said it's nothing too serious, just a mild concussion. A few days of rest and she'll be fine. Paula was complaining that keeping her in the hospital was a waste of money.
She was planning to drag her back and force her to start taking clients in two days. But now, she's all yours. I'm out."
"Thank you, Mr. Vance. Have a safe trip back."
Once Lucian left, Stella guided the bandaged woman into the living room.
The woman followed Stella anxiously, her eyes darting around the luxurious space.
The man who had escorted her from the hospital told her that Tiger's woman wanted a companion, had taken a liking to her, and brought her here.
Knowing the living room was bugged with cameras, Stella led her straight into a guest bedroom.
"You can rest and heal up here. No one in this house will force you to do anything you don't want to do. If anyone asks, just say you're here to keep me company."
