She, on the other hand, wasn't feeling particularly ecstatic.
Stella glanced at Julius, and seeing him nod encouragingly, she replied, "Alright. Give me an address, and my husband and I will come meet you."
Errol quickly provided a location.
Stella and Julius headed out to meet him together.
By the time they arrived, Errol was already waiting for them.
The moment he saw Stella, he immediately stood up, visibly overcome with emotion.
He rushed over and gripped her arms with both hands. "My child, I'm so sorry. I never knew you existed all these years. Have you been well?"
It had been twenty-two years since he and Clara separated. This girl had to be twenty-one by now.
Although Stella knew Errol was her biological father, he was still essentially a stranger to her, and she wasn't accustomed to such physical contact from strangers.
Psychologically, she instinctively recoiled from his touch.
Noticing her discomfort, Julius immediately stepped in, pulling her to his side and forcing Errol to let her go.
"Mr. Rox, I am Stella's husband, Julius Blackwood. Let's all take a seat and talk this through calmly."
Errol evaluated his daughter's husband. He was striking, and it seemed he treated his daughter well. Nodding, Errol took his seat.
"I apologize. I was just too overwhelmed. Yes, let's sit and talk."
Stella sat down, but found herself at a loss for words, choosing to remain silent.
Errol, however, had endless things he wanted to say to her.
"Stella, how have you been all these years?"
