If she hadn't casually mentioned it today, he probably never would have discovered that his young wife was already an industry titan.
No wonder she always insisted on keeping a low profile. She preferred operating from the shadows.
But the most terrifying part was that she said it was *one* of her companies!
That meant she had other hidden empires!!
He mentally shook his head. He'd focus on unraveling Astral Pharmaceuticals first and dig into the rest later.
Her patience for interrogations was famously thin. Push too hard, and she'd just shut him out.
"Stella, who handles the day-to-day operations at Astral for you?"
They had been married for over half a year, and aside from her chaotic detour in North Myanor, she had spent almost every waking moment with him. There was no way she could maintain that kind of free time unless a highly capable CEO was running the show.
Stella dropped another bombshell. "Kyson Sterling."
"Kyson Sterling? The Demon King of Bay City? Stella, please tell me you're joking," Julius stared at his wife in pure disbelief.
Kyson Sterling was the youngest son of Bay City's wealthiest billionaire. Growing up, he was a notorious menace, and as an adult, he had evolved into an arrogant, womanizing, utterly useless playboy.
His rap sheet of scandals was endless. His billionaire father had burned through untold fortunes just paying off fixers to clean up his messes.
The media had eventually dubbed him the "Demon King of Bay City."
He was an infamous tabloid fixture, constantly trending for all the wrong reasons. His father had even publicly declared that whoever could force his son to straighten out would be rewarded with a third of the family's empire.
How could Stella possibly trust a loose cannon like him to run Astral Pharmaceuticals?
Wasn't she terrified he would burn her life's work to the ground?
