She wasn't exaggerating—Chloe genuinely had a bizarre scent to her, which had permeated all of her clothes. Stella couldn't quite place it. It was like a perfume but not quite, mingling with a faint, natural musk. It wasn't exactly foul—in fact, it was a very distinct, lingering fragrance—but it deeply unsettled her.
Furious, Chloe snapped, "How dare you call me smelly! That is a top-tier luxury perfume! Money can't even buy it. If you don't know what you're talking about, keep your mouth shut."
She had gone through incredibly exclusive channels just to get her hands on that scent. This country bumpkin had absolutely no taste!
Stella scoffed. "Really? Could have fooled me."
All she knew was that the smell made her physically uncomfortable.
Having been called a homewrecker multiple times now, Miranda's patience was wearing razor-thin. Her tone was laced with venom. "Who are you calling a homewrecker? I am legally married to your father. We have a marriage license."
Stella shrugged carelessly. "If you weren't the mistress, then I guess Chloe is the product of some other illicit affair."
"You—" Miranda was so infuriated she literally couldn't formulate a sentence.
"Dad, look at her!" Chloe cried. "It's bad enough she bullies me, but now she's attacking Mom! She doesn't respect you as the head of the family at all! Punish her, and make her delete that video!"
If Stella posted that clip of her rolling around and screaming on the floor, her reputation would be ruined!
Knowing he still needed this rebellious girl, Frederick swallowed his anger. Massaging his temples, he asked, "Stella, what exactly do you want? If you're going to stay here, can you at least stop causing trouble?"
