When his wife asked for a car, the answer was always yes!
Even if he didn't have one, he would have bought her one on the spot.
"Great, thanks, darling. I'll drive it out shortly. I'll leave my sports car here and swap back when I return. Does that work?"
"Of course. Let me go with you."
Though she was highly capable, he would feel much better accompanying her. There was no telling what kind of stunts those people from Rubinia Country might pull.
"No need. Focus on your work. There will be a live stream on the day of the event, so you can just watch that."
She didn't want him tagging along for every little thing. She was perfectly fine on her own.
"Sigh... then at least take a bodyguard. It'll be good to have an extra pair of hands if something comes up. I'm not taking no for an answer."
He simply wanted her to have someone to run errands so she wouldn't have to handle everything herself.
He hated the thought of her exhausting herself.
Stella sighed in resignation. "Fine."
If he insisted on a bodyguard, she would take one just to give him peace of mind.
"Darling, you're leaving so soon. Aren't you going to leave me something sweet to tide me over for the next few days?" He held her tight, refusing to let go.
"What are you trying to do?" She tried to push him away, but he didn't budge.
"What do you think?" he murmured, scooping her up into his arms and carrying her toward the private lounge inside his office.
...
By the time Stella finally left the Blackwood Group headquarters, it was already mid-afternoon.
After Julius had thoroughly had his way with her, she ended up taking a nap in his lounge before hitting the road.
