Watching Yvonne charge at her like a lunatic, Stella lightly stepped to the side, dodging the knife. She raised her leg and delivered a swift kick, sending the woman flying.
Yvonne sprawled on the floor, wailing indignantly like a madwoman.
Stella couldn't help but scoff. "Mr. Warren, this is the woman you took a liking to? Your taste is terrible."
Didn't she know Stella's favorite move was kicking people? She really had a death wish!
Seeing Yvonne acting like a deranged mess, Mr. Warren couldn't stand her for another second. He also finally realized she had been using him.
He marched over, grabbed her by the hair, and slapped her twice across the face. "You stupid bitch! You knew she was Julius's wife and you still tried to use me as your weapon? I'll beat you to death!"
With that, he delivered two more stinging slaps.
Yvonne saw stars, blood trickling from the corner of her mouth.
Stella felt absolutely no pity for her. If it had been any other woman tonight, she wouldn't have been able to leave this room. The final outcome was obvious—she would have been toyed with by these men.
Yvonne's intentions were purely wicked; she deserved no sympathy.
"Excuse me, Mr. Warren. Can I leave now?"
She had no desire to watch this farce any longer, nor did she care what he would do to the woman.
Whatever happened was the consequence of Yvonne's own actions. It had nothing to do with her.
If she hadn't plotted against Stella, she wouldn't be in this situation.
Mr. Warren scrambled up and walked over, his face plastered with an apologetic smile. "Please take care, Ms. Hawthorne. I'll have someone send two bottles of our best liquor over to V608 immediately. You and your friends enjoy yourselves tonight. Everything is on my tab. Consider it my apology."
He personally escorted her to the door. Only after she was out of sight did he let out a long sigh of relief. He had finally gotten rid of her.
