Lake’s eyes snapped open, but they weren’t focused on anything in our reality. “Riley!” he called out, his voice high and panicked. “Riley, where are you? I can’t see you!”

‘I’m right here,” I said, dropping to my knees beside him and grabbing his hand realizing what vous happening. Lake was not in control of his powers at the moment. He was stuck in his head again.. “Lake, I’m right here. You’re safe.”
