Chapter 50 My Turf, My Law
“Mr. Lucas and this gentleman, please don’t let her fool you,” someone said quickly.
“That’s right. How could someone as outstanding as you like Noelle?”
“Are you all out of your minds?” Lucas almost laughed in disbelief. “I don’t like her. She’s the wife of my best friend. Are you trying to stir trouble here?”
He turned to Sebastian at once to make his stance clear. “Dude, I swear, I have absolutely no interest in Noelle.”
“Funny,” Noelle shot him a look. “I don’t have any interest in you either. I only love my honey!”
Sebastian ignored their childish back–and–forth banter. His cold gaze fell on Willow and Viola instead.
“The last time Noelle was taken to the police station, I already had someone warn you,” he said in a low, steady voice. The pressure in it left no room for argument. “Now that Noelle is married to me, she’s a Menzies. I will not allow you to bully her.”
“What is it?” He continued calmly. “Does the Kain Group want to go bankrupt? Hmm?”
The weight of his words made Willow and Viola tremble in fear.
When they heard the word “Menzies,” their
eyes
flew wide open.
It felt like thunder exploding in their heads. They were completely stunned.
At that moment, they finally put two and two together.
Noelle had called this man her husband. He had mentioned Menzies. So that meant this man was the one from Melrose Manor?
Wasn’t he supposed to be old, ugly, sickly, and close to death? A cruel man with a terrible temper?
But the man before them was elegant and composed, like someone far above the rest. He looked nothing like the rumors circulated about him.
“Y–you’re the man from Melrose Manor!” Willow cried out in shock.
Viola locked her eyes on Sebastian too. Her eyes were burning red. She had always believed Noelle married an ugly, violent old man. Instead, Noelle had married someone like this.

“Oh my! This is all a misunderstanding!” Willow hurried to explain once she came back to her senses. “We didn’t mean to cause trouble in your mall. It was really a mistake. We thought-
“You’re wrong,” Sebastian interrupted coldly. He spoke slowly, “It’s not my mall. It’s Noelle’s
He held out his hand. Vance, standing behind him, immediately passed over a document.
Sebastian opened it. It was a transfer
agreement.
The document clearly stated that the mall was being transferred to Noelle. At the bottom was Sebastian’s signature.
He had given Riverdale’s largest shopping mall to Noelle.
Willow stared in disbelief. Viola’s eyes turned red with jealousy.
Noelle froze at the declaration. “Honey!”
She never expected Sebastian to give her the entire mall–just like that.
This mall easily made eight figures a year, and Sebastian gave it to her outright.
“A woman should have assets of her own,” Sebastian said calmly, his tone firm and unquestionable. “That way, no one can bully you. From now on, the mall’s yearly eight–figure dividends will be transferred directly to your account. You just collect the money. Professionals will handle the management.”
“Ma’am. I’m Vance Franklin, the person in charge of this mall.” Vance hurriedly approached
her.
Sebastian corrected him at once. “Not ma’am. That’s your new CEO.”
Vance quickly fixed himself. “Boss!”
All the mall executives, managers, and staff followed together, loud and clear, “Boss!”
Noelle looked at the scene before her. Her feelings twisted together–joy, warmth, and a quiet ache all at once.
She really wanted to cry.
Noelle knew why Sebastian gave her the mall. He was backing her up in front of the Kains. This was the first time someone had stood beside her–no hesitation, no concern for loss,

She forced the tears back, but her eyes were still red.
