Chapter 57 Fading Smiles
The smile in Sebastian’s eyes gradually faded.
His lips tightened, and he fell silent.

“Don’t worry,” Sebastian said softly. “It’s just a small business issue. I’ll handle it. You focus on preparing for your SAT Don’t let these things distract you.”
Hearing this, Noelle knew Sebastian didn’t want to talk about it. She couldn’t help thinking of what Serena had said, that Sebastian seemed to have gone all out because of another woman. Could it be true? Did Sebastian really have someone else?
With Noelle’s medical skills, Sebastian recovered completely in just a few days.
Duo was thrilled. “Mrs. Menzie, your medical skills are amazing! Honestly, you’re just too low–key. I bet you’re even better than that Miracle Healer. If you two competed, the title of world’s number one miracle doctor would definitely change hands!”
Noelle pressed her lips together and stayed silent.
Compete with myself?
Lucas clicked his tongue in disbelief. “I’ll admit, Noelle is incredible, but compared to the Miracle Healer, she’s still not there yet.
“Noelle can’t fix Sebastian’s legs, but the Miracle Healer can. It’s just that she rarely shows herself.
“Sebastian, sooner or later, I’ll invite her to treat you.”
Noelle rubbed her nose thoughtfully.
It wasn’t that she didn’t want to treat Sebastian.
It was just that the Wanderroot still hadn’t been found.
Without Wanderroot, Sebastian’s legs couldn’t be healed.
She had already asked Serena to speed up the search, but the truth was, finding it was extremely difficult.
Lucas checked on Sebastian, saw that he was fine, and left. Noelle went back to her room to prepare medicine. When she came out again, she saw Sebastian changing clothes in the room.
He had put on a clean white shirt. Because his right arm was connected to bandages around his chest, it was hard for him to move
Using his right hand to button the cuff on his left sleeve was clearly difficult.
Noelle hurried over.
“Let me do it! Seriously, hubby, just call me next time!”
She rushed up. Sebastian only heard her voice; before he could react, she was already in front of him.

She crouched down and gently fastened the button on his left cuff.
“All done!”
After buttoning it, she looked up at him with a bright smile.
Sebastian’s tense expression relaxed. She was always so cheerful, always smiling–her mood was contagious
“You helped me again,” he said. “Should I give you something in return?”
“A gift?” Noelle grinned. “I don’t want anything ordinary. How about this? Give me a kiss!”
She leaned closer, puckering her lips. “Here, right here!”
Her shameless, playful look made it impossible to deal with her seriously..

Sebastian smiled helplessly and gently pushed her face away with one finger. “Stop messing around. Go to my bedside table and get your gift.”
“There’s really a gift?” Noelle was stunned. She had thought Sebastian was just joking.
Curious, she walked over to the bedside table. Sure enough, there was a small square box on top. “Is this the one?”
“Yes. Open it.”
Noelle carefully opened the box and found a silver needle case inside.
“I was going to bring it to your room,” Sebastian said. “But since you’re here, I’ll give it to you now. This case is super thin, and it has a strap you can tie around your waist. You can carry it with you. If anyone dares to bully you, just use your silver needle skills on them.”
Noelle looked at the gift and smiled. “Thank you, honey! I love you!
“You gave me a gift, so of course I should return the favor!” she said brightly. “You’re injured right now, so it’s hard for you to shower. How about I help you bathe? I swear I don’t have any bad thoughts! I just want to help you wash up. Totally innocent
Help me bathe!
The image flashed through Sebastian’s mind. His ears turned red without him realizing it. He turned his head away and tapped her forehead lightly. “Hey, stop it. Go back to your room and rest.”
