Even after walking Noelle out, Harlan was still fuming.
Who the hell married our boss?!
"Okay, I'll stop here. Go back to work," Noelle said with a nod before grabbing her bag of herbs and striding away.
Just as she reached the main night market area, a sudden commotion broke out.
"Mr. Haller! Wake up! Please, stay with me!"
An old man—probably in his 70s or 80s—was lying on the ground, his whole body convulsing.
A middle-aged man knelt beside him, completely panicked.
People around them were startled.
"What's going on?!"
"Somebody call an ambulance!"
Noelle frowned. The old man's condition was bad. His face was turning blue. He was about to suffocate, and an ambulance definitely wouldn't get here in time.
"Mr. Haller, wake up—"
"Stop shaking him. If you keep shaking him, he'll really die." A cold female voice cut in.
The man looked up and saw Noelle walking through the crowd.
"Who are you?"
"I'm the one who can save him."
His eyes lit up. "You're a doctor?!"
Noelle didn't explain. She just nodded, then crouched beside the old man and checked his pulse.
"You're a traditional medicine doctor?" Felix Haller asked excitedly.
Noelle hadn't even answered yet when a sharp female voice cut through the crowd, "She's no doctor! She's just a trade school student!"
Felicia pushed her way out from the people around them, sneering.
A few minutes earlier, she had been suddenly kicked out of Alliance 749's herbal shop. They even told her she was banned from all Alliance 749 stores from now on. When she asked what was going on, the staff just said coldly, "Think carefully. Did you offend someone you shouldn't have?"
Felicia was confused.
She hadn't offended anyone!
Panicked, stressed, and annoyed, she walked all the way here still trying to figure it out. Then she saw the commotion and came over ... only to catch Noelle "pretending to be a doctor."
Acting all mysterious and important, like some legendary doctor.
Felicia almost laughed out loud.
She had seen fakers, but never one this ridiculous.
A trade school student?
Felix's expression immediately changed.
The way he looked at Noelle changed too.
She was a trade school student?!
He quickly pulled Roman Haller out of Noelle's hands.
He was panicked and not thinking straight. This girl looked barely 17 or 18. How could she save someone?
And she was just a trade school student!
"She's a senior at a trade school," Felicia added with a smirk.
"She can't save anyone; it's a miracle if she doesn't hurt people. He's clearly foaming at the mouth from GERD—just a small incision, and he'll be fine."

Felicia looked extremely pleased. See? Anyone with a brain would choose me.
She sighed. This old man is about to suffer.
