Chapter 186 Who’s the lucky guy?
If you got to walk that runway tonight, you’d basically be famous overnight. No wonder
Sabrina Johnson and Zoey Mitchell were both dying for the chance. They each started
showing off their own strengths, throwing some not–so–subtle shade at each other too.
Onlookers? Absolutely entertained.

Emily Carter nudged Amelia Johnson gently, lowering her voice. “Amelia, wanna bet who Mrs.
Brown’s gonna pick?”
“What’s the stake?” Amelia’s lips curved into a playful smile.
This wasn’t their first time playing this kind of game. They always had fun with it.
“This time, let’s switch it up–whoever loses has to confess to their crush,” Emily offered
casually, though there was a flicker of nervousness in her eyes.
Amelia raised an eyebrow. “Knew it! So you do like someone. Who is it?”
Emily panicked. “That’s not the point right now, okay? Just hurry and pick already!”
“Alright then, I…”
“I’m going with Zoey Mitchell,” Emily quickly cut her off.
Amelia gave her a look. “You serious about this? Or are you just setting me up to lose?”
To be fair, anyone could tell that Zoey’s body was slightly better–taller, more curves.
Logically, Mrs. Brown would pick her.
But Emily shook her head. “Not guaranteed. If Mrs. Brown knows Sabrina is your sister,
maybe she’ll give you face?”
That totally threw Amelia off. Please, no. She didn’t want either of them to get picked.
Especially not if it meant she’d lose and have to confess to Damien Taylor!
The thought alone made her heartbeat spike. How the heck was she even supposed to say
it?
Suddenly, the regret hit hard–why had she agreed to this bet again?
“I’m in too!” Lily Carter popped up between them, hugging Amelia with a grin. “I’ll join Amelia’s

side. If I lose, I’ll confess to Joey!”
Claim
That actually made Amelia pause–technically, the bet was just to confess to a *crush*, not a
specific person.
Which meant, worst case, she could just fudge it.
Zoey, pretty confident herself, even started doing some moves to highlight her figure.
Everyone assumed Mrs. Brown would pick her–until the older woman turned to Amelia
instead, beaming. “Amelia, why don’t you do it? You’ve got the full package.”
That moment? Blew Sabrina and Zoey’s minds. Both were left stunned.
Amelia didn’t even hesitate. She agreed right away.
Honestly, if Sabrina hadn’t jumped in earlier, Amelia would’ve volunteered herself.
“Thank you so much, Amelia! You’re seriously my lucky star!” Mrs. Brown hugged her, then
quickly signaled her assistant to take Amelia backstage for wardrobe.
Of course, she didn’t forget the other two. “You both are great, but Amelia’s just a better fit.”
Sabrina and Zoey’s smiles immediately dropped. What kind of backhanded compliment was
that? Basically admitting they lost to Amelia.
But what could they do? Fake some smiles and move on.
Backstage, Amelia changed into a silky, nearly see–through white lingerie set–basically
something straight out of a Victoria’s Secret show. The back was almost completely open,
perfectly showing off the flawless lines of her back. Her soft, fair skin was smooth like
porcelain, giving her that rare combo of innocent and seductive.
Combined with her already delicate features, she looked like she’d walked straight out of a
dream–ethereal and effortlessly gorgeous. Amelia Johnson smoothed out her hair and
started a video call with Damien Taylor from the dressing room, only showing her face at
first.
“Aren’t you watching the show? Where are you?” Damien asked, looking puzzled.
“I’m at the venue right now,” Amelia replied, then filled him in on the whole‘
I–got–asked–to–walk–the–runway‘ thing. After setting the phone at a good angle, she hesitated
