Once Richard Johnson left, Daniel Foster insisted on checking out of the hospital. The
moment he woke up and saw the hospital room looking like a luxury condo, he immediately
asked a nurse how much it cost per night. When he heard the number, it felt like a knife to the
heart.
He knew he didn’t have to foot the bill, sure, but what if Damien Taylor spent too much on
him and didn’t have enough left to take care of Amelia?
So, with Daniel putting his foot down, Amelia had no choice but to get the discharge papers
done.
But when they arrived at the place Damien had arranged for them to stay, Daniel and Hannah
Foster were completely stunned. The place was like something out of a movie–luxurious
didn’t even begin to describe it.
Daniel stood frozen, wide–eyed, and quickly tugged Amelia aside, shaking his head like crazy.
“We’re only here for a few days, honey. A small inn is more than enough. No need for all this
lavish nonsense. Tell Damien to save his money–you two have a whole life ahead.”
Amelia hadn’t expected Damien to book them an over–the–top, seven–star presidential suite

Hannah echoed Daniel’s concern, frowning. “Oh sweetie, even if you have money, you

a fortune, you know.”
To them, Amelia was already Damien’s wife.
Kids?
Amelia’s cheeks turned bright pink. “Mom…”
Damien chuckled and gently pulled Amelia to his side, explaining calmly, “Mr. and Mrs.
Foster, really, you don’t need to worry. This place? It’s free. I own the hotel.”
All three of them gave him a look like he just dropped a bomb.
