Knowing Amelia Johnson was on her way back, Patricia Collins took a walk in the front garden of the villa.

Sabrina Johnson looked at Patricia with stars in her eyes. “Auntie, look at our flowers… How do you grow the ones at your place? They’re way prettier than these.”

A little while later, a car stopped at the entrance of the villa.

“Auntie, I think that’s my sister!” Sabrina quickly pointed it out to Patricia.

Earlier at the Collins’ place, Sabrina faked a phone call just so Patricia could witness Amelia being dropped off by another man. It would definitely push her to cancel the engagement.

Amelia stepped out of the car and walked through the gate.

“Auntie,” she greeted Patricia and kept walking.

“Stop right there.” Patricia’s tone was sharp.

Amelia paused. “Yes, Auntie? You need something?”

“Who brought you back?”

“It was my cousin,” Amelia said casually.

“Was it? That didn’t look like his car,” Sabrina chimed in, sneaking a glance toward the unfamiliar luxury car. No way a broke guy like Emily Carter could afford a Maserati.
