She clutched Yvette’s arm. “Mom, get this creep out of here! Throw him out! He’s disgusting!”

Yvette had a splitting headache and couldn’t deal with any of that. She rushed to explain herself to Victor. “Victor, you have to believe me. He’s lying. I’ve loved you since we were kids. We’ve been together for decades. You believe me, don’t you?”

Victor looked at Gary, then at Mandy. There was a resemblance between them. If anything, Mandy looked more like Gary than she did like Victor.

Gary didn’t waste any time. He pulled out the paternity test results and handed them to Victor. “Here. These are the paternity tests for me and Blake, and for me and Mandy.

“They’re both my kids. You’re just the sucker who raised my wife and kids for me. I’m getting old, and I want to settle down at home with my family now. So hand them back.”

When Victor saw the 99% probability of paternity on the test, his head started to spin.

“Victor, it’s not like that-” Before Yvette could finish, Victor slapped her across the face with everything he had, and she let out a cry. “You bitch!” he snarled.

The slap knocked Yvette to the floor, and her lip was bleeding. But she scrambled back up, desperate to explain. “Victor, don’t believe them! Nora hired these people! They’re actors! It’s all fake!”

Nora stood off to the side, smirking coldly as she watched them turn on each other.

Victor wasn’t about to listen. He was seething. “The only reason I married you was because Mandy was my kid!

“And now it turns out she isn’t mine at all! You were sleeping with Gary all along, and you played me for a fool!

“And after we got married, you went and had Blake with him! You fucking whore, you’ve been cheating on me this whole time!”

Victor exploded. He started punching and kicking Yvette, cursing her at the

of his lungs.

Blake stepped in and shoved Victor away. “Why are you hitting my mom? It’s not like she did anything that terrible to you, I’ve called you Uncle Victor all these years. That’s practically Dad. And my sister actually called you Dad. You didn’t lose out on anything.”

Victor was getting old, and he was no match for Blake. One shove sent him stumbling back. But Blake’s words made him shake with rage.

Kendra stood next to Victor. “Don’t worry, honey. I’ll get my dad involved. He’ll make sure Yvette walks away with nothing, and he’ll invest $1,000,000,000 in your company. My dad doesn’t approve of us getting married, but for the baby’s sake, he’s willing to help out.”
