“Send me everything you’ve got,” Nora said, raising an eyebrow. “Then tell Kendra to go ahead.”

She’d barely hung up when Ryder’s files landed in her inbox.

Nora read through Blake’s file and stared at the screen in disbelief. Then, she laughed out loud. “That explains it.”

“Explains what?” Julian asked, confused.

Nora gave him a sly look. “I’m not telling, Come over to the Sinclairs’ with me, and you’ll find out. What do you say?” She’d put off dealing with the Sinclairs long enough.

“We don’t have much going on right now. Let’s go on vacation to the Sapphire Isles and take Adrian and Mandy with us. Throw in a little romance, and they might decide to get married right there.”

Nora caught every word as she walked in. She gave a snort. “Keep dreaming.”

Yvette frowned the second she saw her. Then, she remembered that none of her recent plots against Nora had panned out, and she got even more irritated. “What are you doing here?” she asked, looking like she’d love to show Nora the door.

Then, Victor spotted Julian with her, and he rushed over to greet him, all smiles. “Well, if it isn’t my son- in-law! Are you feeling any better, Julian?”
