Josephine had never expected to run into Edmund here.

He took another step forward, but at that moment Kolton stepped in between them.

“Didn’t you hear what she said? You’re finished. Stop coming here to disturb Josie’s life.”

Edmund’s gaze shifted from Josephine to the man standing before him.

He had already seen him under the streetlight earlier, confessing his feelings passionately to his own wife.

Intense jealousy wrapped around his entire body, and even his words turned sharp with bitterness. “I’m talking to the woman I love–what business is that of yours? Who do you think you are? A homewrecker?”

Josephine had never seen Edmund like this.

In the past, even though he had been cold toward her, he was always cultured and reasonable.

“Watch how you speak! He has nothing to do with me–do you? We’re already divorced, Edmund.”

He shook his head and cautiously reached out to hold Josephine’s hand.
