Jasper had always spoken highly of Amelia to others.

Nicole smiled at the sight of the commotion, but it was laced with a hint of cynicism.

“Seems like Ms. Sinclair is doing much better in Nova Nine compared to in Infotech. She worked as an assistant in both companies, but the treatment she got in both places is starkly different.”

Given Amelia’s capabilities, she wouldn’t even have a chance to sit at the table at Infotech.

Christopher remained calm as usual, not paying much attention to Amelia. He hardly spared her a glance the moment she stepped in.

He gave Nicole a half-hearted smile at her words.

Jasper was chatting with people surrounding him.

Amelia turned around and saw Adrian at another corner. She picked up her glass and approached him.

“Hello, Mr. Lane. I am Amelia Sinclair from Nova Nine’s technical department.”

She expressed her interest in cooperating with him.

Adrian surveyed her from head to toe.

Amelia could clearly sense him evaluating and assessing her. He was also trying not to make it too obvious, so she pretended not to notice.

Having heard Luke’s assessment of Amelia, Adrian agreed that Jasper’s companion did look mesmerising.

Amelia could clearly feel the disdain in Mr. Lane’s eyes.

“Do you have something to say to me, Mr. Lane? Please speak your mind,” she said with furrowed brows.

Adrian, with an inexplicable look in his eyes, said, “Ms. Sinclair, you take full advantage of your beauty, and I’m in awe of that. Why would I have anything to say? You’re so capable, I’m sure you’ll be able to find many manufacturers willing to work with you. Unfortunately, we’ve taken many orders recently. Christopher walked over with Nicole.
