In a blink, he spun her around and shoved her against the padded wall, arms above her head. Cuffs clicked into place before she could process the movement. Her chest rose and fell with harsh, shallow breaths.
She gasped, testing them. She was truly bound.
“Still quiet,” he murmured. “That’s good. You follow orders better when you’re like this.”
“Do you trust me?” he asked, voice quieter now.
She was trembling. “No.”
“You will.”
His mouth crashed into hers-raw, demanding, taking without apology. And she gave in, moaning into the kiss, arching when his hands roamed over her body, firm and unrelenting.
He ripped her nightdress open, exposing her breasts to the cool air and the heat of his gaze.
“You’re mine now,” he said darkly. “Say it.”
Jenna turned her face away, defiant.
So he slapped her thigh-not hard, but enough to make her gasp. “Say it.”
She met his eyes. Furious. Aroused. “I’m not yours.”
Ryker’s smile was pure sin. “That’s alright. I’ll just have to break you in.”
He dropped to his knees, pushing her legs apart. His tongue was ruthless-stroking, sucking, devouring. Her moans echoed in the red room, helpless and wild.
“Look at you,” he murmured, lips slick with her arousal. “Dripping and still pretending you don’t want this.”
Her legs shook. Her mind spiraled.
Ryker’s palm skimmed her thighs, his fingers dipping between her folds
“So ready,” he muttered. “Do you know what that tells me?”
“Shut up,” she bit out, trembling.
He smirked. “It tells me you’ve been aching for someone to ruin you. Let me.”
With no warning, he pushed into her-deep and hard-and her cry echoed off the padded walls.
“F**k,” he groaned. “Tight little thing. You have been mine from the start.”
He drove into her, again and again, relentless, each thrust shoving her against the wall. Her moans turned to gasps, then to begging. But not for him to stop.
He leaned down, one hand teasing her clit with maddening skill. “You like being taken, don’t you?”
She hated him.
She wanted more.
“Say it,” he demanded. “Say you belong to me.”
“No,” she breathed.

He slapped her thigh-sharp and stinging. “Say it.”
Her body clenched around him, and he groaned. “You’re mine, little princess. Mine to F**k. Mine to break. Mine to protect.”
“I hate you,” she whispered.
But her hips pushed back against him.
He reached up, unfastened one of her cuffs, turned her around, and took her mouth with brutal passion-kissing her like she belonged under his skin.
“I’m going to F**k the rebellion out of you,” he said against her lips.
And he did.
He lifted her, wrapping her legs around his waist, slamming her against the wall as she shattered around him— crying out his name, her body convulsing with release.
“Say it,” he growled into her ear.
“I hate you,” she choked out.
He chuckled. “Say it.”
“I… I’m yours,” she gasped as her climax crashed over her again.
His growl shook the room as he followed, spilling inside her with a groan that sounded more animal than man.
They stayed like that-pressed together, breathing hard, hearts racing.
He uncuffed her gently.
She slumped into his arms, trembling. Exhausted. Shaken.

Trapped in her lies
Morning light crept across Jenna’s bed, but instead of the embrace she’d hoped for, she woke to emptiness. Ryker was gone. The sheets beside her were cold, untouched.
Panic flickered in her chest before she steadied herself. It wasn’t his red room. She dressed quietly, with so many racing thoughts. The villa felt noisy.
She wandered through the halls. At the grand entrance, a cream-colored card sat on the welcome desk:
Welcome, Nina.
Her breath caught. She touched the paper, mind spinning. Nina?
Before she could dwell on it, heels clicked from the stairwell. Nina appeared in sharp focus. Poised and elegant as always.
“Good morning,” Nina said softly, her voice smooth. “I’m in charge until Ryker returns.
Jenna swallowed. “I… heard he left?”
Nina nodded. “Coming home late. He has plans—but dinner tonight is his idea.”
“What dinner?”
“You’ll see.” Nina’s gaze was unblinking. “It’s a celebration. A new era.”
Jenna backed away unsure of what celebration she meant. “I didn’t know-
“You’ll play your part,” Nina interrupted. “Because up there…” She gestured up the stairs. “Is now mine.”
By evening, the villa buzzed with congratulatory chatter. Ryker’s celebratory dinner had gathered pack elders, council members, and even a few nobles from neighboring packs. All eyes were curious. Nina presided over the table like a queen.
Jenna sat quietly, poised but tense, her hands clasped. Wine was poured, speeches were made. Ryker’s absence was murmured over; Nina thanked everyone on his behalf.
Jenna noticed the way people glanced at her-skeptical, uncomfortable-like she did not quite belong.
A hush fell as Nina rose to her feet for a toast. She smiled politely and raised her glass toward Ryker’s empty chair.
“I propose we honor Alpha Ryker and his vision for a united pack. May we rise to meet his expectations.”
Glasses clinked. Jenna raised hers too, but her lip trembled.
A ripple of applause followed.
Then… a slip.
Nina’s heel caught the edge of the grand staircase. The room gasped. Time slowed. She tumbled down, the fine silk of her dress rippling, arms flailing.
Jenna flew from her seat, heart hammering. She reached for the base of the stairs… too late.
Nina slammed a hand against the marble floor. She cried out-dramatically, her voice thick with pain— “Jenna!” –

All eyes turned. Some in shock, others angry. Jenna’s heart froze.
“Jenna pushed me!” Nina wailed, sliding halfway across the floor. She propped herself up, tears dropping down her cheeks. “She jerked my arm-look!”
She clutched her wrist and glared at Jenna with fury. Gasps echoed around the room.
Jenna stumbled backward.
“What?” she whispered. “No-no, I wouldn’t-”
Jenna felt her face flush. Her breath came faster.
“No!” she shook her head. “Nina, it was an accident-I reached to help!”
But council members were already surrounding Nina. Concerned voices asked questions. Their eyes shifted toward Jenna with cold surprise. After all, Nina belonged to their pack, and Jenna was just a stranger to them.
“I… I’m fine…” Nina said. She pressed a hand to her abdomen. “It’s my babies… I feel…”
Her voice broke. She looked up, tears in her eyes, then her gaze shifted to Jenna. “You made me fall. You tried to kill my unborn children.”
Jaws dropped and the room was filled with whispers and wide-eyed stares. Jenna stepped back, mortified, heart pounding.
“What?” Jenna whispered. “No-I only tried to catch you-‘
Nina glared, tears running. “Don’t lie! I saw your hand. You shoved me.”
Panic rose in Jenna’s throat. She pressed her lips together, shook her head fiercely.
Her heart pounded as she felt suffocating pressure. Eyes of accusation sparked in every gaze.
A guard hurried forward, offering to help Nina to her feet but she refused, Ryker had not arrived yet. The door remained closed, but Jenna’s voice barely made a sound:
“It wasn’t me…”
“Let’s have a doctor,” one elder murmured.
“Is the Luna unwell?” another asked.
Ryker-Ryker was nowhere in sight.
Jenna’s pulse pounded. “I… I need to… to explain.” She stood, hand raised.
Nina glared, rolling her eyes up at the crowd. She leaned on a companion. “She’s evil. Look at her.” The words were heard.
I’m sure she is jealous of finding out Alpha Ryker was with Nina before her, another voice whispered.
Jenna swallowed, eyes brimming. Everything around her felt like glass-fragile, sharp.
Then the doors burst open. Ryker stepped in, his coat flung back, eyes blazing red. The room tensed, falling silent again.
His gaze swept the room and landed on Nina curled at the foot of the steps. His expression hardened. Blood drained from his face as he rushed to her side. Jenna’s heart twisted when she saw the concern-pure and true-

in his red-tinged eyes.
She wasn’t supposed to feel jealous but she couldn’t help it.
Nina looked up-fearful and triumphant at once. She pressed one hand to her wrist, feigning pain.
Ryker brushed past Jenna like she was air. He knelt beside Nina and swore under his breath.
“She’s okay,” he hissed, voice low in panic. “What happened?”
Nina sagged into Ryker’s arm, sobbing. “She pushed me, Ryker! She tried to kill my babies!”
Jenna froze. “Babies?” she whispered. “No…”
Ryker turned his head slightly toward Jenna-briefly, a flicker of something like dismay played on his face.
“Is this true?” he asked, but his gaze remained locked on Jenna. Silence answered.
Nina looked up at him, fear and triumph mingled in her eyes.
Ryker’s lips pressed into a thin line. He looked at Jenna again-eyes narrowed.
The crowd gasped. Jenna backed away-hands covering her mouth. Kyle, one of the elders, shook his head. “I… did not.”
Jenna’s voice cracked. “Alpha-” she cried. “It wasn’t me!”
But Ryker’s eyes were furious and questioning as they locked with hers.
“I can’t… believe you’d do that,” he spat low enough for no one else to hear.
Tears spilled from Jenna’s eyes. She never thought he wouldn’t believe her.
Nina clutched Ryker’s arm, voice soft: “I thought-”
Ryker shook his head. “Get a doctor.”
Ryker stood and looked at Jenna. The room went silent. Guests held their breath.
His voice cut through the hush like steel: “I thought I knew you, I didn’t know you could stoop so low.”
Every word lanced into Jenna’s chest. Her pulse thundered.
“I…” She couldn’t finish. Tears welled.
Ryker stared at her, expression unreadable.
The room erupted in murmurs as he lifted Nina into his arms-gentle despite the tension-and carried her down. the hallway.
He never looked back at Jenna.
