Sophia just nodded absentmindedly while munching on her cake.

May leaned in even closer. “That sly guy really knows how to play the game, huh?”

Sophia paused, thinking it over. “I won’t deny he tried to pursue me before. But ever since I made it clear I wasn’ t interested, he hasn’t brought it up again, not even once.
