"But this means you'll have to go to Solstice Auctions every day," Charlotte said, her tone turning entirely dismal. "I won't get to see you every day anymore."

"We don't even know what it is yet."

After work, Yvette went home.

She opened her drawer.

The envelope was thin, yet her heart fluttered with nervous anticipation.

Taking a deep breath, she tore it open. Inside was a sleek card.

It explicitly stated that she was appointed as a Specialist Restorer for Solstice Auctions.

She grabbed her phone and scrolled through her contacts.

A few seconds later, she realized she didn't even have Eleanor's contact information. She'd just have to wait.

Her phone rang. It was Charlotte.

Yvette smiled and shared the good news.

"Hmph! Willow was ready to broadcast to the whole world that she got third place, but you're a Specialist Restorer! At Solstice Auctions, that's equivalent to a team leader. I can't wait to see the look on her face when she finds out."

They ended the call.

Humming a cheerful tune, Yvette walked into the kitchen to prepare dinner.

It was just a simple, comforting bowl of pasta, but tonight, it tasted incredibly delicious.

She even fell asleep with a smile on her face.

Saturday morning, Yvette woke up early.

She had promised to spend the day with Milton and Nola.

Her phone buzzed. It was an unfamiliar number, but she guessed it was Milton.

"Ms. Yeats, it's Milton Graham."

"Yes, hi."

"I was thinking of taking Nola to an indoor playground today. Does that work for you?" he asked politely.

"That sounds great, but I can't go on any intense rides," Yvette replied.

"Of course. You have every right to sit out."

They finalized the time and location. After breakfast, Yvette drove out.

Yvette momentarily choked on her words, not knowing how to explain it to a child.

"Just call me Milton," he interjected. "Calling me Mr. Graham while we're at a playground feels a bit odd."

"Alright. Then just call me Yvette."

Nola peeked at Yvette a few times, and noticing the child's shy glances, Yvette actively reached out and took her hand.

The little hand was soft and warm, melting Yvette's heart.

Instantly, her thoughts drifted to the baby growing inside her.

A wave of overwhelming tenderness washed over her.

They were at the largest indoor playground in Kingsbrook, filled with endless activities.

Slides, trampolines, and climbing nets were just the basics.

There were also role-playing zones—a mini supermarket, kitchen, hospital, and fire station.

Plus a block area, a reading corner, craft tables, and drawing stations.

"What do you want to play first, Nola?" Yvette asked gently.
