Julian reached the top floor. Seeing Amelia completely unharmed, tears of joy sprang to his eyes. “Amelia! Thank God you’re okay! Get behind me, quick!”
Julian held the bomb in one hand and a lighter in the other, smiling and waving at her. The whole scene looked… absolutely terrifying!
“Julian, I’m a little scared to get close to you. Maybe put the bomb down first?”
Who knows if those things are real or fake? If they accidentally go off, I don’t know if I get a third rebirth! Not worth the risk.
“What are you scared of, Amelia? I’m here to save you! Get over here!”
Just as Julian stepped forward, Ace pulled a pistol from his robe and aimed it right at him. “You’ve got some skills tracking us here, but your luck runs out today.”
“Bring it on! Shoot me if you have the balls! This bomb is packed with enough C4 to level this entire villa! Let’s blow us all to hell!”
Julian didn’t flinch. He purposely sparked the lighter and waved the flame right near the fuse, scaring the men in black so badly they scattered like rats, backing far away from him.
Ace, standing there shirtless, scratched the back of his head in annoyance. “Motherf*cker, he’s a lunatic!”
Julian sneered. “Heh. Now that you know I’m not messing around, give me my sister back!”
“Amelia is my wife! I’m not giving her back!” Ace refused to back down.
Julian pretended to light the fuse again while mercilessly roasting Ace. “Look at you, you castrated, dickless freak! You’re not even worthy of shining my sister’s shoes, and you think you can marry her?! Go take a piss and look at your pathetic reflection!”
Ace’s face turned completely green. “Say that one more time, I dare you!”
“I’ll say it a hundred times! You don’t even look like a f*cking man! Get your *ss back to whatever country you crawled out of, you castrated loser!”
Julian’s insults were brutally savage. Ace lost his mind and cocked the gun. “Since you wanna die so badly, let me help you!”
“I bet my bomb is faster than your bullet!” Julian lit one of the explosives and hurled it out the window.
With a deafening boom, the explosion blew several trees outside clean in half.
Finished
Amelia peeked out the window and gasped. “Holy sh*t, it’s an actual bomb. Bad*ss, Julian.”
Where the hell did he get military–grade explosives?!
In reality, Julian was panicking out of his mind. I literally picked these up on the side of the road while tailing Ace’s guys!
I originally just wanted to bluff and scare him, but he provoked me and I actually lit one! Thank God it exploded. If it was a dud, this would be so f*cking embarrassing!
But right now, he stood tall and proud, pulling another explosive from his belt. “Come on! I thought you weren’t afraid of dying! This one has your name on it!”
Ace wasn’t easily threatened. He was about to pull the trigger when his bodyguards stopped
him.
“Boss, this kid is a suicidal maniac! Why don’t we let him take the girl, and we’ll ambush them at the main gate!”
Ace realized his men had a point. He nodded resentfully. “Fine! I’ll spare you and Amelia today! Get the hell out!”
“You’re letting me go?”
Amelia frowned, feeling zero relief.
There’s no way Ace is letting me walk out that easily. It’s a trap!
Watching the bodyguards scramble downstairs, Amelia instantly guessed his plan. She leaned close to Julian and whispered, “Be careful. They’re not letting us walk. It’s an ambush.”
Julian thought Ace was just terrified of the bomb and didn’t take her warning seriously. “Amelia, relax. As long as I’m here, they won’t dare touch you. Let’s go!”
Amelia wanted to argue, but Julian grabbed her hand and marched downstairs.
The entire army of bodyguards formed a tight circle around them, a massive sea of black suits slowly backing down the stairs.
