Chapter 245 Public Execution

Some nosy gossips had already scurried over to Sebastian to whisper the rumors in his ear.
Terrified that Amelia would misunderstand, Alexander quickly reassured her. “Amelia, don’t worry. Sebastian isn’t like that. He’ll definitely explain everything to you.”
Amelia hadn’t believed a single word out of Sophia’s mouth from the start.
I’d believe Sebastian hired a stripper as his assistant before I’d believe he hired Sophia. It’s obviously the payoff from her rolling around with Matthew.
But watching the color drain from Sophia’s face by the second, Amelia couldn’t help but laugh out loud.
“Since when did my fiancé’s standards drop so low that he’d hire you as an assistant? Are you sure it wasn’t some other Sterling who promised you that?”
Sophia opened her mouth to argue back, but Sebastian’s tall, imposing figure strode over to them.
“I heard someone decided to hire an assistant for me without my permission?”
The second Sebastian dropped that line, the crowd collectively gasped in realization.
“So Sophia was lying again! I knew there was no way Sebastian would hire her. She looks completely plastic!”
“Oh man, she tried to pull a fast one while Sebastian was in the back, but then he actually showed up and her mom accidentally snitched on her!”
With the crowd throwing shade left and right, Sophia’s lie was officially exposed.
Eudora was furious. Her hands trembled as she pointed at Sebastian. “You took advantage of my daughter just a few days ago, and then told her to work at the Sterling Group! How can you…”
“Mom! Shut up!” Sophia tried to stop her, but it was too late. Eudora had aired out her entire fake story for everyone to hear.
“That is the biggest load of bullsh*t I’ve ever heard! Sebastian hasn’t touched another woman in thirty years! Who the hell took advantage of your daughter?! If he’s touching anyone, it’s Amelia!”
Playing the ultimate attack dog, Felix stepped up and started cursing Eudora out.

Chapter 245 Public Pecution
Finished
Alexander frowned deeply. “Mom, stop spouting nonsense! There is zero chance Sebastian would do something like that!”
No one knew Sebastian better than his closest friends. The man literally threw women out if they got within three feet of him. There was no way he touched Sophia…
Eudora refused to back down. She yanked Sophia in front of the crowd. “Looks like Sebastian is refusing to take responsibility! Sophia, tell everyone exactly what happened that night! Mom will get you justice!”
Originally, Sophia was the one supposed to marry Sebastian. Amelia only took her place because she came back. What was wrong with swapping Sophia back into the Sterling family?!
Being shoved into the spotlight, Sophia mentally cursed Eudora to hell and back. Why the f*ck is she bringing this up right now?!
“Heh. Go ahead. I’m actually quite curious to hear what happened that night myself.” Sebastian’s eyes behind the gold–rimmed glasses burned with absolute lethal intent, suffocating Sophia so badly she could barely breathe.
“Come on, spit it out. I really want to hear what you guys did that night too.”
Amelia crossed her arms, perfectly content to watch the show.
Sophia stammered for ages without making a sound. Amelia laughed. “Since you can’t seem to find the words, how about I do the talking for you?”
With that, Amelia pulled out her phone and opened a freshly published news article. A video played on the screen–it was crystal clear footage of Sophia and Matthew getting busy in the backseat of a car in an underground garage.
Instantly, all the socialites whipped out their phones, opened the news app, and found the video sitting at the absolute top of the trending list.
“Oh my god! Sophia really is sleeping with Matthew Sterling! Katherine just got massively cuckolded!”
Katherine, obviously, saw the video too. In a fit of feral rage, she smashed a bottle of wine on a table, grabbed the jagged glass, and charged at Sophia like a maniac.
“You f*cking b*tch! I let you off the hook last time out of respect for the Bennetts, and you have the balls to do it again?!”
Sophia couldn’t dodge in time. The jagged glass slashed violently across her face.
“Ah! My face-!”
