Summary for Chapter 236: Ride With Me (Paige and Jace)

Ride With Me novel Paige and Jace by Kylie K Chapter 236

CHAPTER 136-1

Paige’s POV

The morning started before the sun came up, because there was no chance I was going to sleep through the biggest day Lawson Customs had seen in years.

I opened my eyes beside Jace, and for a few seconds I simply stared at the ceiling while the reality settled

over me.

Today, the new workshop would officially open. Not just the old garage. Not just the little business Uncle Will had built with his own hands. Both workshops would finally operate together, and the thought made my chest tighten with excitement.

I slipped out of bed quietly, because Jace was still sleeping, and I headed into the bathroom.

After a quick shower, I brushed my teeth, dried my hair, and pulled it back before getting dressed in jeans, boots, and a Lawson Customs shirt.

When I returned to the bedroom, Jace was sitting on the edge of the bed.

“You were trying to escape without me.” He said and I laughed.

“I was trying to let you sleep.” I said.

“You should know better.” He said.

“You looked comfortable.” I said.

“I was.” He said as he stood and kissed me.

“Today is a big day.” He said.

“I know.” I said.

די

“You nervous?” He asked.

“A little.” I said and he smiled.

“You’ve handled worse.” He said.

“That doesn’t mean I’m not nervous.” I said and he grabbed his shirt from the chair.

“You’ll be fine.” He said.

We headed downstairs, and the garage was already awake.

Mia was carrying boxes toward the kitchen, Ben was checking his phone, and Emma was trying to convince three children that they couldn’t have cupcakes before breakfast.

“They’re celebrating.” One of the kids argued.

“They can celebrate after they eat something healthy.” Emma said and I laughed as I walked past.

CHAPTER 126+

“Good luck,” I said as she pointed to me.

Don’t encourage them.” Emma said.

“I wouldn’t dream ofit” I said:”

Jace grabbed coffee while I made myself some toast, and within twenty minutes, we were heading toward the back of the newly built Lawson Customs.

When we arrived, I stopped at the entrance. The new workshop stood beside the original garage, and the freshly painted sign above the door made everything feel strangely real.

LAWSON CUSTOMS

The old building had always looked like Uncle Will’s workshop. The new one looked like my future and I swallowed hard as Jace came up beside me.

“You okay?” He asked and I nodded.

“Yeah.” I said and he looked at the building.

“You did this.” He said.

“We did.” I said and he smiled.

“That’s better.” He said.

By nine o’clock, the parking lot was packed. Customers had arrived early, because word had spread throughout town that the expanded Lawson Customs was officially opening.

There were motorcycles lined along the street, pickup trucks parked across the neighboring lot and families wandering between the two buildings.

Mia stood near the office entrance with a clipboard, while Ben moved between the workshops checking that everything was ready.

“How many appointments?” I asked and Mia smiled.

“Both workshops are nearly full.” She said.

“Nearly?” I asked and she handed me the clipboard.

“By next week, we’re completely booked.” She said as I stared at the schedule.

“That’s insane.” I said.

“That’s business.” She said and Ben walked over.

“Your new service bays are already being used.” Ben said as I looked through the open doors.

Several motorcycles were already waiting for work and I smiled.

“This is actually happening.” I said.
