CHAPTER 31-2

That afternoon after the garage closed I drove to the clubhouse as I’d done several evenings recently.

The familiar routine already felt comforting with children riding bicycles around the yard and

someone laughing from the workshop behind the clubhouse.

The smell of dinner drifted through the open kitchen windows.

It felt lived in and felt real.

After everyone gathered around the long dining table Jace stood and quietly cleared his throat with me sitting beside him and the room gradually fell silent.

“I’ve got something to say.” Jace said and Hunter leaned back in his chair.

“This should be interesting.” Hunter said but Jace ignored him.

“Paige and I are together.” He started but nobody looked surprised and several people smiled. So Emma reached across the table and gave my hand a gentle squeeze and Jace continued.

“I also want everyone to understand something. If there’s ever a situation where Paige needs me and the club needs me at the same time, Paige comes first.” Jace said as I looked at him in

complete stunned silence.

“That’s exactly how it should be.” Derek shrugged.

“We’d have complained if you said anything else.” Hunter said and Mason chuckled.

“I think we’ve all known this was coming.” Mason said.

Around the table, heads nodded in agreement and not one person objected or questioned the decision. Which shocked me completely. We’d only just gotten together and he was already telling

his club that relied on him that he was going to choose me above everyone else.

It felt strange because that had never happened before and I didn’t know how to really react to it.

Instead of anyone saying anything bad, they all just simply accepted it as naturally as they had

accepted me.

For the first time in a very long time, I stopped worrying about whether I belonged and I finally

believed that I did belong.

Later that night after the clubhouse had gone quiet and everyone drifted to their own routines and some had gone to their own homes Jace reached for my hand and led me down the hallway.

CHAPTER 31 2

We reached his bedroom and he opened the door for me.

It was the first time I had ever seen his apartment at the back of the clubhouse and this two room

apartment was bigger than my whole apartment above the garage.

As soon as I walked into the room I turned around to look at Jace who was slowly walking towards

Jace looked just as nervous as I was but I knew that this is what I wanted and I grabbed the front

of his shirt softly and I leaned up and kissed him.

He seemed a little shocked at me making the first move, but I knew what I wanted and this is

exactly what I wanted.

Jace grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to him as he held the kiss for as long as he could.

I started unbuttoning his shirt and I let it slip off of his shoulders before it hit the floor and he moved his hands further down to fiddle with the hem of my shirt before I grabbed it and he pulled

it up above my head.

He started walking forward so I was moving backward and he slowly pushed me back onto the bed before he leaned over me kissing me while holding his weight on his arms next to my head.

I reached down and I started undoing his jeans and he ended up kicking them off and discarding

them on the side of the bed before I also undid my jeans and I kicked them off to the side.

He then leaned backward and he pulled me to a sitting up so he could undo my bra and he leaned down and kissed me while he was undoing my bra.

I moved back up onto the bed further and he crawled up the bed to meet me and our lips met again before he laid me down again as I felt his erection pressed up against my thigh.

He leaned over to the bedside table where he grabbed a condom out of the table and he put it on

straight away.

He soon adjusted himself as he slid inside of me causing me to gasp.

I wasn’t a virgin. Not by a long shot, but Tyler had nothing on Jace.

I wrapped my arms around his shoulders as he started pumping in and out of me and I could feel my arousal getting wetter and wetter.

Jace started moving faster inside of me as I started turning into a writhing mess before I felt goosebumps start to appear all over my body and I started digging my nails into Jace’s back, making him moan a little louder.

I felt the familiar butterflies start to erupt in my stomach and I felt myself fall over the edge of my
