As Sienna spoke, she used the handle of her makeup brush to tap the side of Yanet's neck.
Yanet's skin was incredibly fair; even the slightest mark showed up vividly.
Her brain immediately registered what Sienna meant. She stretched her neck and leaned closer to the brightly lit mirror.
The vanity mirrors in the dressing room were flanked by intense studio lights, designed to help the dancers perfect their heavy stage makeup.
Sure enough, right on the side of her slender neck, there was a faint, rosy hickey.
A vivid flash of last night flooded Yanet's mind.
Her hands had been trapped against a solid chest. Barrett's hot breath had ghosted across her ear as his lips trailed down her neck, leaving a flurry of ticklish, desperate kisses.
"You're blushing," Sienna pointed out ruthlessly. Knowing they were still in the communal dressing room, Sienna kept her voice low. Once the head director arrived, Yanet—as the principal dancer—was going to be under a microscope.
"Put some heavy concealer over it. I need to go finish the rest of the cast."
Yanet quickly unpacked her bag and dug out her heavy-duty foundation to cover the mark.
With the grand opening of the tour fast approaching, everyone was completely stressed out. The dressing room was a mess of dancers stretching, scarfing down breakfast, or looking like they had just rolled out of bed.
Yanet checked the mirror one last time. Satisfied the mark was completely hidden, she stripped off her coat to reveal her dance leotard and shorts.
Sienna glanced at Yanet's bare back and clicked her tongue. "Please don't tell me that man-whore Harlan gave you that."
Yanet immediately straightened up, shooting a paranoid glance at her back in the mirror. "Wait, is there one on my back, too?"
"So it really was him?!" Sienna looked absolutely disgusted, like she had just watched a pristine diamond get tossed into a dumpster.
Yanet shook her head. Grabbing a lightweight warm-up jacket, she zipped it up over her leotard, hoping that would cover whatever else was back there.
She had been in such a complete daze last night that she hadn't even thought to remind the man to be careful.
"It wasn't Harlan."
