Sham Marriage Quit Real Heiress Strikes Back novel Chapter 33

Finished

Elena tapped like. Consider it officially acknowledged.

Sometimes keeping a little pet entertained was oddly amusing. Watching her bounce around for attention and then playing along felt like a harmless game.

The car stopped in front of a high end bridal boutique. Elena stepped out and saw the sign, Aeris Bridal, a luxury brand under Pinnacle Group.

She followed Ryan inside.

“Miss Sterling, Mr. Kingsley is upstairs.”

The store manager hurried over, eyes filled with barely concealed envy, and personally escorted her up.

The second floor was the VIP lounge. Since Alexander was here today, the entire level had been cleared, reserved exclusively for him and Elena.

She spotted Alexander.

He was seated on a sofa, a laptop resting on his knee. One hand supported his forehead while the other moved across the keyboard, long fingers precise and steady. The scene was effortlessly striking.

“Sir, Miss Sterling is here.”

The manager announced it softly.

Alexander lifted his gaze, closed the laptop, and stood. He walked toward Elena.

“Alexan-”

Before she could finish, he reached out and took her hand.

His palm was cool against hers. Elena blinked in surprise. By the time she processed what was happening, he was already leading her deeper into the showroom,

She felt a little awkward, but with less than three weeks before their wedding, she chose not to pull away and let him guide her to a display case.

Alexander removed the white cover.

Inside was a satin wedding gown with an off shoulder neckline. The back featured an oversized satin bow that cascaded elegantly down the waist.

Elena’s pupils trembled.

How is it this one?

Camille?

Elena startled so badly she stumbled. She almost lost her balance, but a firm hand wrapped around her waist, steadying her.

“Thanks…”

She mouthed the words to Alexander, then pointed toward the stairwell.

After that, she shifted subtly behind him. The game was not over yet.

Camille was stopped at the stairs. Yesterday she had spent the entire day sweet talking Nathan until he finally agreed to accompany her for wedding photos, as long as she kept them private and did not post them.

Even so, she was thrilled. When she married Nathan before, they had only signed the paperwork quietly. No ceremony, no photos, nothing.

“I just want to look at the gowns upstairs. Is that really a problem? Do you even know who I am?”

Her good mood was ruined. Camille crossed her arms. Her expression turned icy.
