Melanie glanced at the rearview mirror and saw a black Audi Q7 trailing them.

“Preston, pull over to the side of the road for a moment.”

Preston glanced at her without asking any questions.

“Alright.”

Melanie’s car slowly came to a stop on the shoulder. The black Audi Q7 that had been following them also stopped.

Melanie recognized the person who got out of the car. She got out as well and walked over to him.

“If you needed to talk to me, you could have just called instead of tailing my car.”

Gavin looked embarrassed at being called out so directly.
