She Left She Thrived She’s Worth Billions novel Chapter 463

Although he had only been locked up for three days, Dominic looked like a shadow of his former self when he walked out of the detention center. Unkempt, unshaven, and covered in grime, he had lost every trace of his wealthy, polished persona.

Seeing him like this, Camilla broke down into tears, her heart aching for him.

Dominic returned to the Hale estate. After washing up, he finally looked somewhat human again.

"Oh, my sweet boy..."

Before Camilla could even touch his face, Gregory delivered a vicious slap across Dominic's cheek.

"Dad..." Dominic clutched his face, staring at his father in disbelief.

Gregory's expression was thunderous. Camilla stood by, wanting to speak up but too terrified to intervene.

"Are you out of your mind yet?"

"Dad, I..."

"Why did you go harass Melanie?!"

Dominic fell silent.

Camilla couldn't bear it any longer. "What are you doing?! Dominic has been through so much. He was locked up, and now that he's finally home, instead of comforting him, you hit him? Are you even his real father?"

"What do you know?!" Gregory roared, immediately silencing her.

"She is just a woman. You're divorced. If she has a new boyfriend, she has a new boyfriend. What does it matter to you?!"

"Your job was to smooth things over with her, to get back in her good graces so you could secure the Royce Group's nutrient formula for me! And now? She is even more guarded against you, and you have a criminal record! Tell me, are you just plain stupid?"

Berated by his father, Dominic couldn't say a word, forced to swallow his bitter frustration.

He admitted he had been impulsive. But as a man, he couldn't stand the fact that Melanie had moved in with Preston the second their divorce was finalized.

Dominic was equally shocked. Everyone in their social circle knew Sabrina desperately wanted Aria to secure a powerful position within the Royce Group, but she had never quite managed it.

If Nathaniel truly made that promise, it meant Aria had zero chance of ever taking over the company.

"Aria and Sabrina will never just roll over and accept this... Dominic," Gregory said, patting his son's shoulder heavily.

"This is your golden opportunity."

Meanwhile, the nursing home owned by Stellaris PharmaTech was hosting an open house event.

They welcomed scheduled visitors, offering lectures, afternoon tea, and guided tours.

"Hello, please present your ID for registration," the receptionist said with a polite, professional smile.

Wearing oversized sunglasses and a baseball cap, Evelyn pulled an ID card from her purse.
