She Left She Thrived She’s Worth Billions novel Chapter 583

Her entire journey over the past few weeks had traced a perfect parabolic curve. A flawless, unstoppable rise, followed by an immediate, devastating plunge.

Exactly like a roller coaster.

The terrifying reality was that while she was the one riding the coaster, she wasn't the one who built the tracks.

Someone else had designed the entire ride for her.

Aria snatched her phone off the floor and sprinted out of her office.

She headed straight for the Royce Group headquarters.

Although she had never commanded as much respect as Melanie, she had always marketed herself as a highly educated intellectual, earning her a few quiet supporters within the company.

But this time, the moment she stepped inside, the cleaning staff aggressively sloshed dirty mop water right at her designer shoes.

"Watch out. My mop doesn't have eyes," the janitor sneered.

"Be careful, Mrs. Walker, don't dirty your mop," a young employee nearby immediately chimed in.

"What did you just say?" Aria whipped her head around, glaring at the junior staff member.

The employee didn't flinch. "I'll say whatever I want. What are you going to do about it?"

"Exactly!" Another colleague stepped up to back them.

"This is our company. Treating a backstabbing traitor like you like dirt is exactly what you deserve!"

Hearing herself called a traitor drained the remaining color from Aria's face.

Right now, every single person at the Royce Group viewed her as a despicable, ungrateful snake. If she hadn't stolen the serum formula, the company would never have been thrown into such terrifying turmoil.

When Aria's studio and the Hale Group began stealing their clients, the staff genuinely feared they were going to lose their jobs. Mass layoffs had felt inevitable.

"Then I'll wait right here."

"You don't have an appointment. You'll need to register first."

Left with no other options, Aria gritted her teeth and filled out the visitor log as requested, then stood outside Melanie's door.

After just ten minutes, she lost her patience.

"What exactly is Ms. Royce so busy with?" she snapped at the assistant.

The assistant didn't even bother to look up.

Aria crossed her arms, shifting her weight from foot to foot as her legs began to ache. Spotting an empty chair down the hall, she walked over to sit down. But before she could even lower herself, an employee swiftly pulled the chair away.

She then tried to head to the pantry for a coffee, only for a staff member walking out to lock the door right in her face.
