I stared at my reflection in the mirror and felt my grow furrowed in confusion cause it seemed like my skin was literally glowing, and that’s frankly bizarre. But my eyes aren’t playing tricks, I was indeed glowing. My dark circles and stress lines. were gone and I felt so much stronger on the inside and I had no idea why. When I woke up some minutes ago, it was from a dream so confusing, it left me feeling frightened, confused and anxious.
In the dream, I was in a dark room, and the only sound I could hear there was of my own panicked voice echoing. In the darkness, I clearly heard Kai’s voice, which was scared and in pain as he screamed for me to help him. I also heard Zoren’s voice, terrified while asking me to come save him. It had felt so terrifying and I had felt so powerless and helpless in that dream that I hoped to never experience something like that in real life.
I took a shower and after that, and as I got dressed, I still felt baffled by how strong I feel right now. Considering how much pain I was in last night, I expected to be in even more pain this morning, and not for the pain to have completely vanished. My mind instantly returned to Zoren and at once, I was back to blushing hard while my heart instantly accelerated as some of the things he said to me this morning resurfaced in my mind.
When he said I now belonged to him.
Or when he told me he was also hard.
I shook my head hard to chase away all thoughts of him, but it was impossible to do that. It seems that after last night, he’d just refused to leave my mind.
After I finished dressing, my door opened and I felt a deep sense of peace come over me as Kai ran into the room, his arms opened as he cried out..
“Mommy!!!”
“Don’t run, baby.” I called out just as he slapped into my arms, clinging to me tightly and I felt guilt, knowing I must have scared him when I fainted last night.
“You’re awake!” He gushed as we broke the hug and I cupped his face, striking his hair and looking him over a few times.
“Of course I am! Are you fine, baby? Eating well?”
He nodded, beaming up at me before pointing at the doorway where Zoren now stood, taking up all the space there with his sheer presence and making me instantly fly into my throat. “I ate with Zoren and we hung out together. We worked out as well!” Kai exclaimed and I faced him again.
“Oh, that sounds lovely, baby.” I gushed, feeling relieved that my voice didn’t sound as breathless as I feel right now.
Kai’s nose scrunched up for a moment as sniffed me before his face brightened up. “Mommy, you also smell like Zoren!”
My face burned just as I spluttered. Zoren walked deeper into the room and came to stop right beside me, making me feel weak in the knees.
My heart fluttered hard in my chest as I looked over at Zoren again.
“That’s only because I helped your mommy last night. I hope my scent on her doesn’t displease you.” Zoren’s eyes didn’t leave my face as he spoke and I felt myself grow flustered while my face slowly reddened.
“It doesn’t! I love it!” Kai gushed and my face pinked even more when Zoren’s lips twitched.
He sobered up almost immediately. “How are you? All good?” He said to me and I cleared my throat as I nodded.

“Oh, yeah… thanks to you.” I mumbled in response but he waved me off. He was standing mere inches away from mine and I wished he could close the distance between us and touch me. The spot between my thighs throbbed just from me staring at him and his spicy cologne teasing at my nose.
“We’re going to visit Gregg tonight.” He revealed and I instantly tensed up, my heart dropping to my feet as he continued. “I already told Kai about it. He’s excited to meet my father.”
My heart pounded so hard that I grew dizzy. I hadn’t expected that he’d want to introduce us to his father so fast. I feel so nervous at the thought of meeting gregg again, cause what if he locks me up? After all, I had a feeling he wouldn’t be understanding as Zoren was so far away, since it was his money that was stolen and his trust that was actually betrayed by my mother.
“That’s… that’s cool,” I mumbled awkwardly, squirming around because Zoren was staring at me closely.
“Are you alright with that?”
I nodded. “Of course I am.”
I wasn’t, but saying that would just imply that I was scared because I was feeling guilty and I’d rather not do that right now.
After that, Zoren and Kai had something else to do, so they had to leave and I bade them goodbye.
Now that I was alone, I left my room and found the kitchen with the help of jet, then after getting enough food into my stomach. I felt even stronger and so energized, like I could do a lot of things right now. I remained in the dining room even after finishing my meal, my mind returning to last night when I fainted unexpectedly.
Was Zoren worried about me when I fainted? I’d like to really know.
At the thought of Zoren, my mind returned back to all what he told me about me being his. That still sounded so ridiculous and bizarre to me, cause he has Erica and well, I also have a boyfriend, Nico. At the thought of Nico, my face flushed in embarrassment cause just last night I was begging someone else to fuck me, much less the same man who hurt me in the
past.
But the way I felt last night and this morning though, I’ve never felt that way around Nico ever before, or anyone else. But that still doesn’t matter, it doesn’t mean I’ll cheat on Nico, now that I’m able to make use of my brains again, I’ll need to have another conversation with Zoren again today.
I don’t belong to him. He’s being delusional. I have a boyfriend and he’s engaged to someone else.
I was still lost in my thoughts until I heard a familiar grating voice behind me. “So you’re here, looking perfectly fine at that. I knew you were just putting on an act at last night’s dinner.”
I whirled around in my seat to see Erica at the doorway, a Stoney expression on. “Erica, what do you want now?” I bit out.
She scoffed. “You know what? Enjoy this while it lasts, okay?”
I frowned in confusion as I regarded her wearily. “What now? Why can’t you leave me alone?”
“I hope you’re happy now that you’ve stolen my man from me like you clearly planned to do from the onset. Better enjoy whatever you get from now until it all falls down, because I’ll definitely get my lick back, No one steals from me. No one ever takes what belongs to me and leaves scot free.”
“What the fuck are you talking about? Steal your man? You’re not making any sense.” I told her but she turned and stormed away, leaving me confused as hell.
