While walking past a private dining room, Summer casually glanced inside and spotted Xavier sitting with Mr. Crawford from Jasper Dynamics.

The two men were deeply engaged in a pleasant conversation.

Lilith's voice suddenly chimed in from behind her. "Xavier helped me set up a meeting with Mr. Crawford, and he accepted my invitation. What, did Mr. Crawford forget to tell you?"

Looking at Lilith was like looking at a pile of garbage. Utterly repulsive.

Summer glanced down the hallway. Even knowing there were security cameras, she took a deliberate step away from Lilith.

Summer gave a half-smile. "Why would he need to tell me anything?"

Lilith, assuming Summer was just being bitter, smiled even brighter. "Since you're already here, why don't you come inside and say hello?"

Knowing exactly what Lilith was trying to pull, Summer nodded casually. "Sure."

Through Lilith's smug introduction, Summer exchanged business cards with Mr. Crawford, officially making his acquaintance.

Lilith put on a sweet smile and said, "Mr. Crawford, I had no idea Summer booked you for dinner tonight as well. If I'd known, I definitely would have rescheduled."

Mr. Crawford looked completely baffled. "When did Pax invite me to dinner? Did I suddenly develop amnesia?"

The smug smile instantly froze on Lilith's face.

Summer smiled warmly, her tone smooth and gracious. "Please don't mind her, Mr. Crawford. Ever since Manager Sutton got pregnant, her memory hasn't been the sharpest. She got her wires crossed. I'm actually meeting CEO Vivian West of SN Global tonight."

Xavier glanced at Summer, flawlessly catching the dark, mocking glint hidden in her eyes.

She had done this on purpose. Knowing she and Lilith were locked in a fierce rivalry, she had anticipated Lilith trying to steal her clients.

So, she had laid a trap, inventing a fake meeting just to watch Lilith waste her time stealing it.

Mr. Crawford beamed. "Countless people would kill for the chance to dine with Pax, yet they never get it. It's a date, then."

After a few more polite exchanges, Summer turned to leave. As she passed Lilith, she paused, delivering a final, lethal blow.

"Manager Sutton, thank you so much for the introduction. If it weren't for you, I never would have met Mr. Crawford, let alone secured a dinner with him."
