Substitute Wife, Genius CEO novel Chapter 344

In just a few crisp, precise sentences, Leo laid out the exact sequence of events. Silas ruffled the boy's hair, then stood up and turned a frigid gaze toward Xavier.

"Mr. Sterling, make your son apologize to mine."

Xavier let out a cruel, mocking laugh. "You're pathetic, Silas. You're actually treating him like he's your own blood. Don't forget whose DNA is running through his veins. Doesn't your family find it disgusting?"

Silas's expression remained perfectly calm. "The blood running through his veins is Summer's. And my entire family absolutely adores both of them!"

Leo grabbed Silas's hand. "Dad Silas, you don't need to waste your breath on him. We can just pull the security footage."

Leo pointed directly at the security camera mounted on the nearby wall.

"Brilliant!" Silas smiled, patting the boy's head again, and immediately sent an assistant to fetch the restaurant owner.

The owner hurried over, wiping sweat from his forehead, looking deeply apologetic. "I'm so sorry, everyone. The camera in this section was accidentally smashed by a child about half an hour ago, so we haven't had a chance to fix it yet. I am incredibly sorry."

The camera had been smashed by Hunter. Bored and looking for trouble, he had grabbed a heavy wooden block and hurled it at the lens.

When the security guard noticed on the monitors, he had sent a waiter over to stop him, but the interference only made Hunter more aggressive. He had started screaming about how his dad was the richest man in the city and had endless amounts of money.

The owner had recognized Hunter walking in with Xavier earlier, so he had no choice but to let it slide. It was just a broken camera; he could always replace it later.

But if he made a fuss over a camera and offended Xavier Sterling, his business in Empire City would be finished.

Knowing there was no footage, Hunter shot Leo a smug, victorious glare.

Archie was so panicked he started crying again. "What do we do? What do we do? We didn't bully him, he bullied us! Waaah... He's a bad kid!"

Hunter immediately faked another round of sobs. "It was you! You stole my toy and pushed me! You're huge, how could I ever beat you in a fight? Especially with Leo helping you!"

"You two ganged up on me, cursed at me and my mom, and beat me up! You two are the bad kids! You should be locked up in jail!"

Leo stared at him with chilling composure, his voice perfectly clear and steady. "Are you absolutely certain everything you just said is the truth?"

Hunter shouted through his fake tears, "I'm certain!"

"Good." Leo nodded, turning to the frantic restaurant owner. "Sir, I need you to serve as an official witness."

Her little boy had grown up so much. Not only was his logic flawless and his composure unbreakable, but he even knew how to establish a legal witness.

Summer and Silas exchanged a glance and smiled simultaneously, sharing an unspoken, proud 'our boy is growing up' moment.

Xavier frowned. A bizarre, uncomfortable emotion flared in the depths of his chest, but before he could analyze it, it vanished, leaving behind only a stifling sense of frustration.

Leo reached up and unclipped a small, metallic badge from his jacket, holding it high in the air. "This is a hidden camera. Every single second of what just happened was recorded in high definition. It's undeniable proof that Hunter is lying, twisting the facts, and intentionally trying to frame me. He's just a compulsive little liar!"
