It had to be the share transfer document!
Xander was truly throwing money around. To give such an enormous gift for a six-year-old's birthday was absurd.
Jealousy and hatred gnawed at Lilith's heart.
Why didn't things like this ever happen to her?
Beside them, Archie urged Leo to open the gift, dying of curiosity to see what it was.
Children simply couldn't resist presents.
Leo pulled out a stack of documents. Archie stared at the dense text, his head spinning. "What is this? Test papers? Leo, why did your uncle give you homework?"
"Does he want you to study harder?"
Childish words were always the most innocent, but all the adults present clearly read the title of the document: Share Transfer Agreement.
The crowd exchanged looks of absolute shock.
No one expected Xander to be this generous. He was acting more like a real father than Xavier ever had.
Xavier had certainly never given Leo any corporate shares.
Silas eyed Xander thoughtfully.
Xander had only recently woken up and wasn't entirely close to Summer or Leo. Handing over such a massive gift out of nowhere made Silas highly suspicious.
A fisherman always had to use bait.
What was Xander really after?
To invest such heavy capital meant he wanted something huge in return.
Silas mentally put his guard up, afraid Summer might be getting tricked. The Sterlings weren't exactly known for their charity.
Xander smiled. "Leo, you should hand this gift over to your mom to keep safe for you."
Since Leo had been raised as an heir and was incredibly bright, he understood the weight of the document to some extent.
